Do you really think that the US media are less studied than the Italian media? They are not.
Studies show that the media dont choose the candidates. They select the hot topics to be discussed, with the consequences of giving or not an edge to this or that candidate.
If a candidate is strong on security, it might have a chance of scoring high if the media overhype security issues.
But there is no straight connection.

Economical issues are hammered on a daily basis by the media. It should give an advantage to candidates with strong economical programs. Well, the three major contenders are pretty weak on this one.

The American news media selects the candidates by the questions they the news decide to be asked. Also by whom they decide to exclude from the debates. The news media in America is not a reflection of the concerns of the American people, but reflective of the news medias bias agenda.

They dont select the candidates. Again, we have during these elections the very proof.
Do the MSM speak about economical issues? Yes, they do. Are candidates with the soundest economical policy selected? No: the three main candidates are weak on the topic.
Bear with it: media select the hot topics. The candidates are selected by the public.
The bias spread by the media does not determine the selection.

Again, this is not conclusions from personal works. It is conclusions held by academics researchs. So according to you, I am not the ignorant, they are.
Whatever you want to think because it is easier that way, their point is valid and this election is one proof more the studies are valid and on the target.
Economical topics are on the top, selected candidates are weak on economics. The public has chosen them, not the media.

lol. i know. at least that is their explanations anyways. there r so much information online, many of which dont have good references or no references at all. there is one site even says British admits they did bio, chem spay on millions without telling them. i found some sites just as bad as american media. bias or even unreliable. i think it would be better for the government do a conference and answer all questions about area 51, 9/11, chemtrails... on a sec thought, forget it. i dont care.

As an iraw war vet the media is unbaised about the war as well. We found WMD in iraq but the media changed the definition of WMD so that therw would be no WMD to make him look bad. as well the media thrives on the death toll of American soldiers not how the soldiers built lets say 10 hospital today(throwing out a random number this is not true) so fuck the media fuck the dems and liberals fuck mccain as well i say we bring reagan back to life!

Probably a mistake and meant to say 47 instead of 57 considering how he paused. I've had brain farts like this. 47 + the one he referred to would be the 48 contiguous states, and then leave Alaska and Hawaii, which he also referred to.

Obama was mistaken because he meant to say 47. But the fact that the media didn't point out that he made this error, makes me sick. If a vp can't get one letter wrong, how can a potential president get the number of states wrong by 10? Oh well, the country's going to hell in a hand basket anyways.
