When Koji speaks you listen even if you do not know what the hell he is saying. The same thing goes for Shigeru Miyamoto. You know when Zelda TP was announced people started screaming, crying and cheering like crazy but then SM got up on stage and spoke in english and I don't think anybody could hear him or had any idea what he was saying but for a brief moment everyone was silent. Then he stopped and people resumed screaming like madmen and saying how Miyamot was the best.

I'm sorry, but I have to criticize Ray for his interviewing technique. That microphone was too close to him and too far from his interviewees. I couldn't hear Koji or his interpreter.

I agree, he seems polite and perhaps a bit nervous, but he speaks with his hands too much. A common mistake when trying to convey ideas to someone who doesn't speak your language.

Why do they need to learn english?, they can do wathever they want, they earn it. They were born still en an era in which English wasn't that important. Besides Japan is a country that lives in the future, they have everything they need for they development as high-tech people there. Miyamoto also can't speak english (although I guess at this point they know something, but yet they don't want to speak it), so what?
