my mom and dad sang this song quite often as a duet while they were Salvation Army officers and doing specialing ...brings back a lot of memories...they sang it a little faster though

Can someone please respond to this comment! it would mean the world to me and more! i am only14 and i do not know if God is real or not. I want to believe in him with all my heart! i want to be true to him as much as i can! please someone tell me a way bsolutely believe in him! i want to love him! and pray every day.. i try sometimes but i forget and i wish i wouldnt! I don't know if you got your answer yet but I just want to let you know that you can see that God is real through His hand in your life. When you decide to let Him be Lord of your life and surrender your total being to Him, you will see He is real. Read your bible and spend time in prayer, it is the most effective way to know who God is. Though you may not see Him with your eyes of the body, you can see Him with your eyes of the spirit. God is real and he died for your sins all you have to do is ask him to fogive you of your sins and believe that he died on the cross for you so you can go to Heaven! its just that easy. All you need to do is ask and believe i will pray for you!

I thought that Gospel Music was one ministry to witness to those who have not discovered Christ and His mercy yet. Not just for we believers to enjoy. The one who is saying negative things just might come under conviction because of listening to His glory through the music.  I would never tell someone to not listen! Jesus just may be at work that day!

May God forgive you for your statements. You maybe "too educated" to believe and pray, so I will pray for you. God isnt a dog that does tricks. You want to see him? Look into the face of an innocent child. You want to hear him? Listen in your heart at a troubled moment when he says it will be okay. Or listen to him on judgement day when he calls his own home.

The "original" Florida Boys retired on 15 September 2007. With Les, Glen, and Darrell blessing, there is a "new" Florida Boys group.  They are Charlie Waller, Eddie Broome, Buddy Burton, and Chip Cooper. So, in short, the original group is retired but the name lives on.

That leadsinger is so very good..he ranks up there with Glen,Jake,James,Jack Toney and Smitty Gatlin..he's superb..forgot his name but the Florida Boys never did it for me much and i got about 30 albums by them (vintage)..someone gave them to me (in case you were wonderin')..but this group with Gene,that tenor and lead..man they're the best quartet!
