cmac asked why they arent' "massive" It was certainly Becky Wreck doing the percussion on Baby Sitters on Acid. This is a good drummer on this cut if it isn't Ms. Lloyd. Most of what I've heard since they lost her has been pretty lackluster comparatively. Percussion is the backbone of a band, as good as these women are on bass and lead and vocals. If this were the replacement drummer they would still be happening

she appeared on the Howard Stern TV show in early 90s in a Star Trek parody skit called Planet of the Lesbians. and supposedly clips of their club performances began to be circulated at shows by 95 in nyc

Becky Lloyd surely was on the Lesbian Dating Game on the Howard Stern Show bearing out my point. Planet of the Lesbians I'm not familiar with, but I know there is a copy of the first shows she did with Howard Stern floating around the extended family.

Becky certainly has been one of the more insightful and humorous individuals I have known. Surely, prior to '95 the Lunachicks were quite popular in Europe, and I enjoyed them Live at the Kennel Club in SF when Becky was still playing for them. Jello Biafra was in the backstage area and I found out that he only approves of wearing hemp fibers. That's cool, everyone else was fine with its other purposes. Hey, it was almost legal back then.

Yes she was, and I was too (to get a date with her!) I'm also a drummer so besides her demeanor, (that cool, laid back, "I'm too cool for this" attitude), her braids, the way she always sat back & slumped in her chair, being a drummer certainly added fuel to the fire. Becky was a great asset, I'd love to know what she's up to now, for real.

She lives in LA and I owe her a call. She has reasons to be unlisted. If I posted my comments 4 months ago I hadn't heard from her then. I have since talked to her on the phone, and she sounds grounded and still going strong. She has become gifted as a gourmet cook and is making a living working at it. I know she had a group "The Blair Bitch Project" as well as a more recent thing called "The Celebutards."

I'm glad she's doing well and is happy, I always thought she was great (not just hot, not just a great drummer, I liked her energy)...you're SO lucky to be friends with her!

I met Becky in Philadelphia when she was nineteen. Her brother Tim introduced us. The years fly by. We had this group we called Sloppy Surgery. I'm sure cooking is a job for her. Good cooks can do pretty well at better restaurants in the LA area with all the celebrity money and media money. Music is her life. I'll write and I'll tell her to look here. I somehow recall seeing Gina on a Red Eye I flew to JFK at some other time, and we went all the way into Manhattan on the Subway too after the flight, but I wasn't quite sure if it was she.
