@Inodie1 It is more time consuming than anything else, really simple. Plants do what they do, ya know? I have a seed collecting vid on tools and techniques. As the season moves on I will be showing individual types of seeds at various stages to insure success! You will literally end up with millions in a few seasons. You are very welcome.
@ThisGuyCanCook1 I am! LOL I have been putting in some really long hard days in the heat. The questions will be easy. I know I will get many w/ all correct answers so thought I would toss in some true or false questions at the end, about me. The ppl w/ the most correct there will get the care packages. Thanks for watching. Much respect to you! Xo, A
I couldn't really grow on my patio at school because they would fine me but I recently found out (during earth week) that we have at least 3 garden plots on campus :D
I've been volunteering and was already offered a small plot to grow whatever I want ^^
I shared some of the seeds with the other gardeners and they were amazed at what you had sent me and commented that you must be really nice
Thanks again for your generosity, hope they are put to good use
I tell ya this is a contest well worth winning. We got your seeds for silver packet, and just from the few varieties of things we've planted from it everything is just coming up~ beautifully~!!!! It really has motivated us to save our seeds as well! (((Hugs))) to you for all you do!!!
@LawnsAreDumb Great to hear they are doing well for you too, & you are saving seeds! I think it is the very clean water, great soil & lots of love that make them grow so well. Life simply wants to happen. Xo, A
i love your videos, your the one person that really got me going in my garden, since its my first garden ever, i must say i Love it. and i learn all the tips and tricks from you! thank you for all these videos!
@cornsnakecrazy21 Xo, lots of good teachers out here sharing their knowledge, It is an honor to be of service. You are very welcome. Thank you for your vote of confidence and wonderful comments. Ppl like you help keep me optimistic!!!
My feet are moving, my mind is moving, but the thermometer is not. We will be lucky if it reaches fifty today. bout the only thing showing in the garden is the chives & the weeds, It's been great weather for harvesting dandelion root though :-) Happy tilling...
@artnuwa11 I mostly dry them and keep them for medicinal purposes, but I do occasionally toss one in when I make my Stinging nettle power juice. I do have a liver cleanse tonic I want to try, it's equal parts of dandelion root, burdock root, some fennel seed and mint leaves. All of which I have an abundance of, the only thing I have to purchase is fennel seed. I managed to get some more beets and kale planted today, in spite of the rain and cold. Happy gardening....
keep the questions simple. I just saying, the whole reason i found your channel is because I've got no clue to what I'm doing. And my tobacco seedling have started to die(not the new ones).Could it be the soil?Should i be adding fertilizer?I'm about to germinate a new batch.Any suggetions? Nice vid
@Mr1PRINCESS LOL, ok.... Your garden looks great! If the tomatoes are doing well your soil is fine. How much light are they getting. Do you have them indoors? How many leaves & what color are they when you see them dying? I would take a guess that it is not the temp. since you are in a warm climate. They love heat. Maybe over watering/under or not enough light. Start the Sacred tobacco I sent. That is the easiest to grow. Xo, A
@artnuwa11 I've been keeping them inside at night and in partial shade during the day. It's still getting down into the 40s and 50s at night(Very unusual year)Tomatoes are doing great but I can't get the tobacco seedlings big enough to even re-plant.They sprout grow to half an inch and turn whit and fall over dead.Gonna start the sacred right now
@Mr1PRINCESS Sounds like they me be getting sun scalded. When they are about 1/4 inch tall and have 4 leaves. Take them out for about 10 minutes the first day in morning sun. Gradually increase the sun by 5-10 minutes every few days. When they are up to an hour morning sun then let them have a little afternoon too, doing the same thing.
You convinced me to try saving my own seeds! Thank-you
