  • What's the max cup height?

  • So does the milk container stay in the fridge and only come out whenever you're making a cup with the machine? Thanks for the great video.

  • What size cup is the clear glass cup in ounces?

  • Does the Milk Container come with the unit or is it sold separately?

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but this looks like the model ESAM 5500T sold here in Oz. I watched your review ages ago & liked this model, have finally bought one at a price I couldn't ignore. Looking forward to getting it home & making myself an extra strong long black ! I hope Delonghi gave you something for this review as its the best I've seen. Cheers.

  • Thanks for the review, well shot and informative

  • Thanks for your review. I went straight out and purchased one after your demo. One thing I don't seem to fill a mug as big as yours, I am a bit disappointed with the amount served of cappuccino, any suggestions?

    Great machine apart from that.

    Thanks again

Yep, You can press the cappuccino button twice and it just does stemmed milk.

  • Hey buddy!

Thanks so much for the review!

    Really informative!

    Cheers!!!

  • yeah great review .Will be buying one of these great machines soon

  • Thank you for the comprehensive review. I have decided to buy one of these machines, based in no small part on this video.

I cant wait to put some Hasbean and Squaremile Coffee beans through it and see what it can do.

  • @steh21

Awesome! Let me know what you think of it :)

  • Glad it helped you, I made it because I couldent find any reviews on it at all. If your going to shell out all that cash on a coffee machine it's nice to know it works well :)

  • Really? May have been the lighting. I had no clue that slick beans were bad for the grinder..

I'm into illy and "Gran Caffe Santos la Differenza" now anyways. They don't look as slick.

  • Thanks for the video. Very informative. Oily beans are not actually bad for the grinder, but it could cause build up inside and make it so you have to clean it more often, but it's really no big deal. I wouldn't worry about it at all. oily beans is a good sign, because that means they're fresh. I'd take oily beans over dry stale beans any day.

  • As far as cleaning and descaling the Perfecta, it's a long drawn out process but only has to be done every 6 months. I have made over 2 thousand cups and this machine still works like a champ!!

  • those beans look pretty oil'ie, that cant be good longtime for the grinder

  • Glad you liked it :)
