OK,gopher,pines and bulls are not the same snake.They are in the same group "pituophis",but are sub divided into infra groups.(ie. Pituophis catenifer,melanoleucus etc..)This is a San Diego gopher,Pituophis catenifer annectens....
Bull snakes/Pine Snakes/Gopher Snakes are ALL the SAME exact snake, just different names for the same species of snake. It's definitely that species and not a king nor rat snake.
