  • Hi! I am trying Polyphasic Sleep and recording all my results, and how I'm feeling. I am specifically doing the Dymaxion Sleep Schedule(2hours a day) which is every 6 hours, you sleep for 30minutes. I discuss tips that I have found out from experience that can make the experience way easier to accomplish! Sorry if you call this spam, I thought that if your watching Polyphasic Sleep videos on youtube, you might want to read about my experience as well. I feel great!

  • Wow really fuckin' interesting

  • What do you work as?

I think your great, that fact that you're a polyphasic sleeper is definatley part of you.

I am in my second day right now, everything went fine up to now, and your videos are so very motivational it's awesome! Thanks so much for them!

(I am not watching them in any perticular order)

Do you know of any forum of Polyphasic Sleepers?

    Thanks a ton, Kai

  • can i do this if i am 18 years old?

  • You can do it if you are 8 years old. I don't see why not.

  • @aeia I think it's okay for anyone past 15-16. By going polyphasic you missing out a lot of deep sleep which contributes a lot to growth of body.

If you are fully satisfied how big you are, I guess anyone can then.

  • @aeia I heard that it interferes with body growth when you are 18 or below.

  • @spidertrax I think I was responding to "18" and typoed. I do not know, I was not under 18 or around 18 when I started. They say you grow until you are 22, and that may be. I don't see why it would inhibit growth, but I wouldnt recommend it for someone under 18 simply out of assumed life circumstance.

  • really helpful.. im gonna do. but do you think its a good idea to be trying this, while my exams are comming up in the summer... please reply. thanks

  • No, I would wait for after exams unless you have a full month before hand. While you do experience peak hours, I doubt it would be enough for studying and taking the exam. 100$ says you would end up microsleeping through your exams. So I would wait until after or if you have at least 1 months before your exams you should be fine.

  • lmao i dont wanna bet online. i have 5 months.. i started this 2 days ago.. and found myself microsleeping on the bus LOL.. (is it when.. you have a like a long blink)+ i sometimes cant get to sleep in 30mins.. do i add the time on my next nap... or just carry on like i had the sleep.. please reply. Thanks again

  • You mentioned changing from 22 min naps to 17 min naps. Really? I never thought you can go below 20 mins. I guess as long as you're getting 2 hours sleep total right?

As you know, I'm doing the 20 min naps (6x per day). But only because I read about people feeling tired and lazy with the 30 min naps. If I master the 20 min naps, I would surely give the 17 min nap a try.

  • Not sure who told you nothing under 20, or two hours for that matter, I did a lot of experimenting sleep times. 22 minutes is my best, most nourishing, I take one 17 in the day, and can go as little as 8 minutes and still get what my body needs. Im not sure who laid down a law about 2 hours, I occassionally get more and occassionally get less. 25 minutes was the longest I ever tried and I felt it was slightly too long. Currently I take 4 @ 22 and 2 @ 17.

  • OOppps forgot to mention.

I'm now on Day 43 total for polyphasic.

    8th day for Uberman.

    35 days with Everyman 3.0

  • Another good video. Puppy looks healthy.

Adapted to Everyman 3 and now first week of Uberman. Horrible Zombie phenomenon again...lol

  • Hey how are you coming along? When is your month up? I don't know what feeling like a zombie means, I assume its the point where all you are is dead tired, you feel hit by a truck and you have extreme eye lag! I hope you are progressing, dont give up!!

  • Definitely, that's Zombie mode.

    Second week for Uberman.

Originally wanted to go for Everyman 1.5, but felt the same as when I started Everyman 3.0, so decided on Uberman.

1st week felt hard with oversleeping during the week and a crash on Sunday. Slept total of 5 hours.

2nd week will be more disciplined..

    xx

  • It's always refreshing to see your videos, you really know how to motivate!

And thanks for telling how long takes to not feel tired anymore. :)

After what you've said about adapting/commanding your body, I'll definitely give sleeping on my side a try again.

Currently I'm on day 19, so it's only 2 weeks to go. It feels like I have more and more control over my tiredness every 2-3 days.

But I can't await the moment when I'll first make my 24 hours without feeling tired, especially at night.^^
