Holy Crap!! He still sounds great. Some of the other old timers, though I still love 'em.....their voices kinda changed around their 50's. His voice hasn't changed one iota. ;)
I was lucky enough to see Hank Locklin on the Opry at the Ryman in the early 70's, back in the days before Opryland, USA! Thanks for the musical memories!
89 years old!! are you serious?? he still has the same voice as I know from the old singles from my pa... I truely love this, I'm 27, but I think I'm a fan.... LOVE YOU HANK LOCKLIN!!!
sorry . must react to the two dislikes. for me it isn't to do with music genre. but the two idiots who dislike won't be around to sing like this at 89 years of age. still wonderful. loved this when I was a tiny tot and love it today!! This gem of a song is such a gift to us. One for Mick Prebble from 'dad' :)
Sounding as great as ever! This is incredible! I am in tears! A grown man here, who grew up with Hank Locklin's music from 10 years old. Oh, I just love this video so much! I'm falling in love with YOU Hank, all over again! R.I.P.
Thanks for posting these great songs of Hank Locklin's BOBFORD. After our youthful days it's a blessing to have got the opportunity of listening to his songs onceagain.

Wow Bob !!!!!!!! blown away 90 you say , loved Hank from the age of 6 listening to grandads LP,s listened to that and the hairs on the back of my neck bristled what a gift to lovers of good music ,a true legend . Thank you
Hank is right in there with my all time favorites. He carried his melodys to his nineties. It is so hard to rate them against each other. They each have their own great songs. Jim Reeves, Eddy Arnold, Charlie Pride, Gene Autry, Scotty Wiseman, Red Foley, Boxcar Willie, Elvis, then there are the girls, Norma Jean, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Kitty Wells, Skeeter Davis, Donna Fargo the list is long. You notice though, there is no one from this century!
when i was young, i worked at a movie theater, before the film, they would always play records. the projectionist loved this song, around 1960ish. always played it, each night. ill never forget.
Great singer, Grew up with his music in my house as my father liked him. He went to see him when he played in Ireland in the 70s. I think it was the hitchen post pub in Leixlip , Kildare. Still sounds great in the video. W|OW 91. Great Innings. Rip
