I agree with all your points in your videos usacomputertec, but you fail to mention how great things look when they have sufficient funding. People seem to care more about looks then functionality these days... So linux usually has pretty ugly interfaces - regardless of how hard you try to make it look like vista or leopard.

Ugly? You sound like my father. He calls it pastel. lol. Everyone else I ask can't seem to understand what is wrong with it. Why it looks bad. they think it's great. Only a few people don't like it.

You don't uninstall Linux. All you have to do is back up your data, stick in the new install disk, and tell it to erase your entire hard drive during the install.

If your talking about a PALM or something like that it does have software for that. If your PDA uses an SD or flash card then I can guarantee you it won't be a problem because you can just put the flash card into the PC.

I tell everyone to try Linux but it's got 3 things going against it. 1) Doesn't matter how good it gets, Microsoft has high-payed sales execs who'll do anything and everything to win big accounts. 2) it's still hard to fix - with windows it's usually just a driver - double click, reboot, fixed. 3) Development effort spread thin across too many distros. The main thing in it's favour is just the crapness of Vista. Love to hear your thoughts.

I agree with 1 the sales execs will do anything legal or illegal to sell Microsoft products but as for 2 I'll have to disagree. Ultumix GNU/Linux 0.0.1.5 has very good driver support and as long as you read the Read Me you won't go wrong. 3 Your right I'm the only one making Ultumix. I do have friends helping me but they are in different places in the world and they supply ideas and knowledge.
