@one40nine The StorCenter ix2 works with nearly all IP cameras. The only difference is that there is an auto-find, higher level of integration with both Axis and Panasonic cameras. Thanks for the question!
this looks cool. but is it only the axis brand camera that works with it? also, remote access is only free for a year. what if u have your own domain and can use ftp?
@one40nine Great question! I had to ask our product folks about that second half, sorry for the delay... We currently don’t support using your own domain.
This is a great device. Far from perfect, but cheap enough for the power home user. I reckon there are much better NAS, but also they are much more expensive, so this is a great bang for the buck. Loving it!
Enterprise servers (Ex @ your ISP,Banks), Phones like the palm pre, Google android, Embedded systems like x2, routers, fiber optic switches, industrial network controller appliances all use linux (the real list is much longer).
If there is one OS that touches your life every day its probably Linux.
Hi Damaraxge. If you have a home-based business, you are surely concerned about protecting all your critical files. Home business users appreciate the built-in backup software and other features like folder quotas, print serving, device-to-device replication, and user-replaceable drives. The easy-to-use interface provides no-hassle management (no I.T. guy required). And remote access capabilities allow you to connect securely from anywhere in the world for full access to your files.
Once registered, this product has a 3-year warranty. That comes with free phone and chat support, as well as 24-hour access to the self-service web portal.
