I am originally from Vermont and I remember in the late 60's and early '70's we used to get A LOT of snow...when I moved back there in 1991, there were a few Christmas's with no snow. They got good snow there last year, and I think so far it's been alright snowfall amounts, but, to me, it seems like the weather patterns up there are just returning to normal or something. But I am not a climatologist, so I couldn't tell you why.
