spend more time building up the form early on, at the lower subdivision levels

also, if you didn't, it's a good idea to construct your model in a semi-relaxed pose, feet shoulder length apart, arms out to the side a little bit

this way you can get access to all the crucial areas while still keeping a fairly undistorted model... then later you can pose it, either by rigging it or with transpose in zbrush

this feels like you subdivided just to get a smoother look, rather than for detail
