I just love the paintings of the codex. They're just so damn cool. I buy my necrons next week ^.^ Than there will be an epic fight between Necrons and Tyranids (my boyfriend's army) xD
'Liths should be capable of causing wounds when they deep strike, on anything they land on.
They're kinda like drop pods, troop transports and heavy support tanks rolled into one. They should make that more clear by making deep striking capable of wounding.
I think that the Necrons and Tyranids will never fight each other since the C'tans have no use of soulless beings (the Tyranids using a hive mind hence no "souls" of their own) and the Tyranids have no use of synthetic metherial like the living metal the Necrons are made of so I think that when only the Tyranids and Necrons are left in the galaxy the Tyranids will find another one to devour and the Necrons will return to their stasis chambers to let the life "regrow".
The tyranids dont fight because NOTHING destroys Tomb Worlds. No tyranid fleet touches them, every single being in Warhammer 40k universe is scared by Necrons, because Necrons (as to the official lore) are taking over. They'll eradicate all of the Emperor's Marines eventually. There's no stopping them. If the Tyranids cant stop them, no Marines can.
actually i think it said that somehow the warp was released into the normal realm due to a lack of life or something like that and the enslavers and other demons actually pushed the necrons back to the point that the c'tan had to wait in their tombs while being heavily guarded by their necron servants
its not a question of if but when they will truely awaken and when that day comes no scourge, empire, and waaagh will stop them. For the great devour will be consumed by it, the waaagh will be crushed by it, and all brut forces will be dieing to goin them...
Sorry but Tyranids wont have much of chance aginste necrons anyway, firstlt because necrons lack any biomass meaning they cannot be used for replenishing the Tyranid ranks. But yeah, the Necrons are basically the being of the end for all races.
the worse part is the necron haven't even used a full force yet all they have used is small scout forces and they haven't used all their power like "the world engine" only one has ever been defeated and that cost two planets being destroyed by it

In all honesty the most likely outcomes of this endless battle in 40k is that either the Tyranids consume the entire galaxy, or the Necrons eradicate all life and their C'tan consuming all opposing gods.
Do you guys read the Codexs??? The necron tomb worlds disrupt the Hive Mind. Tyranids avoid necrons whenever possible. Also, the Tyranids will eventually run out of bio mass.
P.S. Chaos space marines will die, leaving no heirs to the thrones of the Chaos Gods, so when the Chaos Gods all die... demons lose their leaders and lose all organization.

The Necrons are an affront to Chaos Undivided. Their souls are so pathetic and weak, they couldn't even be constituted as a snack for the beasts of the Warp.
That's because they DON'T HAVE ANY SOULS! You are aware that the Necrons are only JUST starting to wake up, and are currently doing "guerrilla warfare" agenst their opponents. Lets see how your chaos is when the war gets sealed off PERMINANTLY!

Especially if the Outsider gets ahold of them. The C'tan ate bloody stars for breakfest christ sake, and they'd more than likely eat the Chaos Gods for their main course.

yeh, lol, i actually just started collecting again, i used to collect templars but theyre gai >.> and plus necrons r just fucken ownage..i killed an entire army of inferior guard with 2 troops and a hq and lost 1 unit...he even had commisar yarrick ffs
I just played a take and hold mission against a friend who plays Gaurd... I destroyed his Chimera, 2 Demolishers, and Hellhound and still got owned. He had WAY more scoring troops than I did.
