Often non Britons knock our food which admittedly does not have a good reputation abroad. Nonetheless we have a choice like nowhere else I have seen (including the USA) and I have travelled quite extensively.
I do enjoy returning to the UK for my fish and chips from time to time!!
@JayEey. People from the medway towns speak rather like Londoners- actually some of them originate from London anyway. Elsewhere it seems less strong, apart from Essex of course. There is such a thing as an Aylesham accent, the result of Welsh and northerners moving into the Kent coalfield early last century. Like most accents its probably dying.
