  • Camera's moving too quickly, if you wanted this to be a bit more realistic I suggest slowing down your video clips. It's a very dreamy song and the fast-moving video clips aren't doing it justice and it feels very discombobulated.

Mabey thats why she isnt, because if they ever asked Tim Burton about it he would say no because of this fact.

  • please tell me how to pose the sims like that, when i click on the link i doesn't work...

  • Thumbs up is she's AMAZING!!!

  • this is AWSOME!!

  • nice :)

  • I miss a lot of the aspects of Sims2, I wish they'd bring over the goth/creepy/magic stuff to Sims3 already. The more realistic stuff is great, but the magic package for Sims2 was so much fun...you got to hatch a freaking dragon.

Sorry for the rant lol, this was amazing. I love Sally, her song, and how well you got everything to work...especially since you were using hacks for most of it. Congrats! Now do another. XD

  • @ravenssilence woe what do you mean dragon in sims2?

  • @TheSpiralHill Sims2 for PC, the magic expansion pack, I don't remember exactly what you had to do to get it, but once you learned all the spells and at a certain time you could go to the dragon lady where you can buy a dragon bed and food at anytime, but at midnight (I think), after you fulfill all the quests before hand, you can then buy the dragon egg. You hatch it and have a baby dragon. I never got around to actually doing it, I just know it's something that can be done.

  • @ravenssilence thnx and also I was wondering why you picked that user name? I think I know

  • @TheSpiralHill It's just a name I've used for forums & online stuff since I was 13. I'm just not creative enough to use something different, but I still it's poetic in the irony of the name itself. But, what was your reason why I used it?

  • @ravenssilence Quote The Raven? your name kinda sounded like trying to silence the raven.

  • @TheSpiralHill That's a better guess than what most people have, but no, nothing to do with Poe or "The Raven", though I do love that poem. =)

  • @ravenssilence lol what where other people guess'es

  • @TheSpiralHill Well, someone who wasn't winning a debate, decided that it meant I should keep my mouth shut. Obviously he didn't understand irony. Other people just think I'm being emo...not being emo, I don't personally get the reference, but it's always a guess.

  • @ravenssilence ha, you must have been talking to a real idiot. How is that emo?

  • @TheSpiralHill Well, I guess if they thought I was an angsty teen making a reference to Poe, then they could assume that I thought life was dreary...which I guess could be "emo." Then, I don't think half the people I talk to here are intelligent enough to make those leaps in logic.....so I don't know. Maybe "emo" just seemed like a good put down at the time they said it.

  • @ravenssilence people always ask me if I am emo, I say no that i just sorta gothic. Then they tell me there not aloud to hang out with because they automatically assume I worship the devil, then I have to explain thats just a sterio type, and that its not true. Really, the living these days ;)

  • @TheSpiralHill :) I completely understand, my mother and aunt decided to call me a vampire all through high school, and I despised vampires. It was quite annoying. I even had friends mother's trying to get my actual friend's to stop being friends with me via their parents, because of how I dressed....so, you're not alone! Life moves on, we all grow up and styles/tastes change. Thus the circle of fads and life continue lol. :D

  • @ravenssilence I think REAL Vampiers are cool, Dracula, Nosferatu, the ones from the old black and white movies. Not the fake crap saying that vampiers sparkle in the sun. When a Vampier gets caught in the sun, they burn to death, not sparkle.

  • @TheSpiralHill I've always been into lycanthropy more so than vampires, I do enjoy a good vampire movie or book though, I do actually love the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton. That's probably the "newest" version of a vampire I'm willing to say is plausible. I have no words for Twilight or it's fans....other than it scares me. They are freaking crazy! The fans, not the series.

  • @ravenssilence Werewolfs are cool too. there = too me. ever seen The Wolfman? I have never read that series, so I cant really say anything about it, I usually only read the the old stories because the new stories I have heard about. are more fixed on romance than blood sucking. And they change the original story sometimes.

  • @TheSpiralHill I agree, most lycanthropy/vampire books today are based around a love triangle, unfortunately. I'd stick with the old stuff, but having read it so many times already, you're bound to reach out and sample some of the newer works too.

  • @TheSpiralHill Sorry to interject but I feel compelled to point out that vampires in folklore and older fiction do not have a vulnerability to sunlight. For example, in the novel, Count Dracula can move freely in the daylight, he is just weaker and cannot use all of his supernatural abilities. From what I understand the sunlight vulnerability is a creation of Hollywood to add suspence and an explaination for nocturnal behavior into the first vampire movies (i.e. Nosferatu).

  • @MojaveViper Mabey its best we stop talking to each other before we start a fight -_-

  • @TheSpiralHill Really? You would start a fight because someone points out a historical and literary fact that can be looked up by a quick search on Wikipedia?

  • @MojaveViper wikipedia? you trust that site? I could log into that site and post that Harry Potter is a Vampire. Anyone can write anything on that site. And I said that because I dont feel like getting into a debate, and dont mail me back.

  • @TheStrangeDuet I never said I trusted everything on it, only that it is lazy not to even check Wikipedia. I don't trust everything written anywhere. I always research multiple sources. Read below for my references. And Wikipedia has a work cited section so you can cross reference anything said there. Your comment about Harry Potter would be deleted rather quickly if you didn't reference it. Finally, commenting because you "dont feel like ... a debate" is an oxymoron. Why post at all then?

  • @MojaveViper holy crap I DONT CARE! just stop mailing me! we where in a different conversation before, then I was afraid we would start fighting. You two are filling up the comment box of things people dont care about! this is for the video. Now im blocking you so I dont have to listen to you. ignorant moron.

  • @TheStrangeDuet I have never mailed you so I have no idea what you are talking about. Indeed I have never heard of you prior to your commenting on my reply to TheSpiralHill. So I honestly don't care if you block me or call me names.

  • @MojaveViper If you really want to be technical, vampires are a fictitious in general but are made up of three to four very specific accounts in history. Obviously Vlad & Bathory are two high profile historical references to sadism and blood lust. There has also been historical proof of a disease that not only make the human body sensitive to light and garlic, but because your body is deprived of iron, you start to "crave" blood. Hollywood didn't make up the sensitivity to light phenomenon,

  • @ravenssilence I will try to be nice bcause you are so young. The disease you mention is called porphyria. It is a disorder in the heme pathway of the blood. However, you do not crave blood nor will drinking it alleviate any of your symptoms. The theory that this disease is the origin of vampire myths was created in 1985 and quickly disproven as many vampires in folklore do not drink blood. Furthemore, only 4 of the 8 subtypes of porphyria show sensitivity to sunlight.

  • @MojaveViper The simple fact that I knew the disease and didn't state the name makes me young? Did you not notice that quoted the word crave, meaning that it wasn't such a strong emotion but the feeling had been emphasized into such a statement? Sorry you didn't understand that. &, let me correct you, I never said that the works cited of Wiki were not credible, if you do the work to check into the sites, I said Wiki in and of itself if not credible.

  • @ravenssilence No. If you read my comments you would have known I confused you with another person. Also, you are wrong that people with prophyria "crave blood." The disease has no such symptom. Finally, your logic is confusing. You trust the references but not the website that compiles quotes from the references? To discount the website but accept the references it uses is a logical conflict. However, to use your arguement I never said Wikipedia was the ONLY reference you should use. The End.

  • @MojaveViper As for the book, I own it, so no need for websites. Laurell K. Hamilton has vampires out in the middle of the day, that wasn't my point at all. My point was, vampires don't exist. Twilight is a main example of how vampires can be changed to any school girl's whim because there are no set rules for vampires. You want your vampire to eat garlic and sup on suckling pig, do it. No one is going to tell you that you're wrong, as long as you get a big enough crowd to enjoy your version of

  • @ravenssilence You are 100% correct. Current and future incarnations of vampires can be whatever their creator wants them to be. I was ONLY referring to past incarnations of vampires and the history of the mythos.

  • Comment removed

  • @MojaveViper the fictional creature.

So I'll say it again, vampires are fake and the myth has been based on different historically documented stories but more to the point, twenty years from now more people will be quoting Twilight for their vampire references than they will Nosferatu or Bram Stoker's Dracula.

So thank you for turning a nice and simple conversation into a debate that no one was trying to start to begin with. Brava, you deserve a degree in vampirism. I applaud your hard work.

  • @ravenssilence I didn't start a debate. I merely quoted a historical fact to a 13 year old. You were the one who said "it's [vnlnerability to sunlight] been part of the vampiric myth for centuries." This is wrong and historically inaccurate. It has only been a part of the mythos for 89 years. All I've done is state facts and references. If you want to be wrong go ahead. Also, I am more optimistic that people will continue reading the older literature and folklore.

  • @ravenssilence Actually, I owe you an apology. I came off as condescending in my "being nice because you are young" remark because I got your screenname mixed up with TheSpiralHill. So I apologize if I sounded condescending. However, being older also means there is less excuse for you to not look up facts before you make comments to younger individuals. Everything I've mentioned is well documented in literature if you look it up.

  • Comment removed

  • @MojaveViper it's been part of the vampiric myth for centuries. The sensitivity to light is also meant to refer to the vampires impurity, hence they are nocturnal creatures.

& as a rule of thumb, never reference something off of wikipedia as a fact. The fact is no reputable college or high school will accept wikipedia as a credible reference source. The fact is, I can log into wikipedia right now and state that vampires are real, and it's caused by a disease carried in leeches.

  • @ravenssilence On the subject of Wikipedia I am well aware of its shortcomings but my university organic chemistry professor would disagree with you on its credibility. See Wikipedia has a works cited section at the bottom of every article so you can cross check any information in an article. Also, I was merely pointing out it is lazy to not even do a quick check on Wikipedia. You can check the articles on "vampires" or "list of vampire traits" in like 5 min.

  • @ravenssilence This said, my references were the book Bram Stoker's Dracula as well as various historical texts on the supernatural and occult. For example, in Ch 23 of Dracula Mina sees Dracula at 12:45 pm; almost one in the afternoon. If you don't want to read it then do a quick Google search and check out CliffNotes or even Snopes. Quoting the book Dracula: Sense & Nonsense by Elizabeth Miller, "The motif of destruction by sunlight was introduced in the 1922 silent film Nosferatu..."

  • @ravenssilence yea wat dragon?

  • @thehoneybun234 Sims2 for PC, the magic expansion pack, I don't remember exactly what you had to do to get it, but once you learned all the spells and at a certain time you could go to the dragon lady where you can buy a dragon bed and food at anytime, but at midnight (I think), after you fulfill all the quests before hand, you can then buy the dragon egg. You hatch it and have a baby dragon. I never got around to actually doing it, I just know it's something that can be done.

  • @ravenssilence what better 2 or 3

  • @XlucyXmusicX Well, 2 was great. I especially loved that when you learned to garden you'd start getting rabbits/squirrels coming to eat your fresh veggies (animal expansion only). Then if you got a pet cat, they would have knowledge bars to fill too--hunting would get rid of the garden theft & eventually mice would come...but then you'd have to deal with the dead mice presents the cat would bring your character. It was cute. & of course there was the magic expansion--fun fun fun.

  • @XlucyXmusicX However! Sims3 has a lot of new aspects that I enjoy too. You can follow your characters while they ride their bikes, drive, and there's a new video mode so you can make videos while you play. You can also trade with people all over the world and upload your own original pieces/hairstyles/clothes/lots. It's all very interesting. I don't have all the expansions yet; I'm' sure it'd be more fun with those. Oh, and the genetic engineering is really fun to mess with too.

  • @XlucyXmusicX So all in all, Sims3 is still expanding--it's your best bet. Sims2 was fun for what it was, but I don't suggest buying it when there's really nothing more you can do with it. I still wish some expansions would come over to Sims3, but for your money, Sims3 is the best right now.

    I hope that helps :3

  • @ravenssilence I'll be happy when they release a pack that lets us assemble superheroes without having to download a billion things. And if we could make anthropomorphic writing utensils, I'd be overjoyed.

  • @ravenssilence

I know what you mean! I hate sims 3. It was weird and the people were ugly. I uninstalled it and went back to my beautiful gothic girls on sims 2

  • How did you get all of these effects, and get her to look like that?

  • @likestakingpix like it says READ THE FACTS IN THE DESCRIPTION!

  • she awesome

  • dat wuz really cool

  • She is really creepy...

  • nice job! thumbs up!

  • Can you get Sims 3 for ps2?

  • How do you make sims like that?

  • very well done!

  • my fav song <3

  • (sorry,flagged.) she looks awesome! 5 stars! 100 stars if I could.

  • that's good

  • The sim character creeps me out a bit but good job! (:

  • lol sorry but your sim is noobish,

  • Holy Balls! You Gotta Tell me How You did that!!! :DDDD

  • yup. sally should be a disney princess. :) lol and the ballerina dancing in the middle made me laugh XD
