  • thanks, very helpful. want to build a 7hz resonant tank .

  • You could increase the capacitance to bring the frequency down a bit.

  • @IsItTrue99

yes you could do that but if you physically do many experiments you will find that there is an ideal capacitance value which the results are less current and the highest voltage rise

    Luc

  • @gotoluc Cool! thanks mate

  • Crappy square wave, but great demo!

  • @IsItTrue99

the square wave is clean under no load!... it becomes like that under load

    Luc

  • @gotoluc Oh!, your not switching a external power suply?

  • Good demo!

    Thanks!

  • greate work,

thank you, this can really help us for tuning resonance.

Did you have schema of this connection to share it with us?

    Thank you in advance.

  • This was extremely helpful Thank you !

  • what happens if you put a magnet inside of the coil ? or maybe a rotating magnet in phased locked resonance spinning the opposite direction of the spun wire. could it push out more radiant energy from the coil ? or maybe a bigger magnet the same polarity that is created by which ever direction you spun the wire to increase output of radiant energy >? i think its anti clockwise is - negative. and clockwise is - positive. ??

  • google "series resonant circuit Q- factor" for info. on voltage magnification. it is not "free energy"

  • Great, great stuff....excellent.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share.

    Very well done

    Take care

  • This is well in. Thnaks for taking the time to do this video, your a champion. Exactely what i was looking for. yeah!

  • Hi sakcheegii,

thank you for the positive comment. The oscilloscope is USB model DOS-2090 and comes with the software including spectrum analyzer. You can by from China on ebay.

  • Great demo, I have tried to replicate this with no luck. I have a new BK Precision Signal generator and a Velleman pocket scope. I am using a 1.236 mH coil and a 560 pF cap. My voltage PtP is only 20 volts at resonance. I am having problems with the ground. I have to use an earth ground to even get 20 volts

    Any suggestions would help,

    Curtis

  • Hi cenlasoft,

Cuirtis, do you have a web cam? if so we can work over Skype since it is difficult to tell you what is going on without seeing your setup. If you don't have one and can afford one pick up a good quality one and contact me. You will need faster speed then dial-up though.

    Luc

  • Thanks for responding,

I have a web cam on my MacBook. I have a high speed cable modem connection. Let me know what to do.

    Curtis

  • I sent you a message.

    Luc

  • Big thaaaaanks. i like it. by the way what software and tool do you use oscilope? sorry my bad english

  • which signal generator? How is it?

  • Hello,

The signal generator is a BK Precision 4003A. It is great and it has a frequency counter.

    Thanks,

    Curtis

  • trying to understand this resonance in coils .great video.

    Thank you

  • Hi hydro4f3a,

yes, Earth ground. In the test I used the copper plumbing of the home as ground.

    Luc

  • Hi Luc,

The ground that you mentioned - is an earth ground used in the circuit ?

  • o i c...its self explanatory i thought you meant the neon bulb. great tutorial

  • Dear Luc,

    GREAT VIDEO!

Question: Why doesn't the filament bulb light up when you go out of resonance?

    Thanks

    Thane

  • Hi Thane,

the bulb doesn't light up because as I said in the video I am not sending the full output (10 volts RMS) of the Signal Generator since the coil's output would be too much for my Oscilloscope. I should of disconnected the probe to the coil and cranked it up to show the bulb glows out of resonance and nothing at resonance. I forgot to do that part. Maybe the next tutorial. Anyways, we can see that no extra energy is used at resonance.

    Thanks for posting.

    Luc

  • bulb lights when coil is in resonance like you said in video. now you say it lights when out of resonance? i dont get that. anyway nifce demo and reason bulb does not light when circuit is not resonating is impedance is not overcome by input...only flows at resonance.

  • Hi tubemp777,

thanks for the positive comments. I did see codygillespie work since he has posted it in the topic at the energetic forum topic.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • hi luc are you saying that it is an amplifier of voltage at the sweet spot and would a mass air flow sensor in modern cars be this type of detector as andrija puharich states that you must have a sensor resonant detector to activate the sweet spot in his diagram to maximise performance which your 300 plus output volts seems to be correct. appreciate reply as now getting how frequecy resonance is a main player in all types of extra energy (not free) yet !

  • Hi honda4004,

I guess you could say it amplifies voltage once it hits resonance. I don't think a mass air flow sensor would be usable for this application. Andrija Puharich resonant sensor detector is used to keep his cell at resonance as the dialectic properties of water change with temperature and or electrolyte. So you would need to vary the frequency and possibly also the capacitance in order to keep it at resonance and use minimal energy input.

    Luc

  • Very Good demonstration. Simple and easy to understand. Some people might have oscilloscopes that only do low voltages and this would help on the coils output. Like me, my USB PC scope only goes to 70v. Thanks

  • Hi bartley440,

I'm not sure I understand your comment? How does your scope voltage measuring ability affect the coils output when the coil is energized by the signal generator?

    Luc

  • Sorry, I was talking about my step up transformer output that feeds the cell. The voltage range is from 600v to 20kv applied to the cell itself. I use the 12v dc to drive the PWM and the PWM drives the step up transformer.I'd like to measure the PWM output and the step up transformer output at the same time.

  • I would use the florescent bulb on the step up transformer output side between the choke and the cell. Since my scope wouldn't be able to measure the voltage at that point.

  • Can you draw up a schematic and post it??

  • Hi neotarget,

the coil is 100 turns of 20 gauge on a 3" plastic spool with a 30pf to 120pf multilayer capacitor in series. That's it. If you want to monitor the amps you can add a micro bulb in series also. Use a neon bulb on the coils side of the capacitor in series to find the resonant point if you don't have a scope. If you need more information click on the Forum topic in the description box next to the video.

    Thanks for looking

    Luc

  • Wow that is some handy info.

You make it all too simple good job.

  • 5 stars As usual .well explained .

  • Hi gmeatdaddy,

thank you for posting your positive support.

  • Another great video Luc.

    Thx for sharing
