Aahh, memories. Days gone past where the most I was expected to do was go to school, make my bed, eat all my veggies and play to my hearts content. Sigh, I miss childhood. No pressure, no stress, no worries, no work, no bills, all fun. I wonder though how many people had Grumpy Bear as their favorite. Tender Heart was a close second.

As I stated earlier I can see why the re-release of 'Sleeping Beauty' in, which debuted during the same week as this in 1986, did better at the box office than this. The animation and story are FAR SUPERIOR and that film is much more enjoyable for parents and kids. Plus, this song is no "Once Upon a Dream" or "I Wonder".

I watched this when I was a kid in english, despite having no clue what-so-ever what they were talking about, I loved it and I have fond memories of my grandmother reading the subtitles for me and my sibs. :)

This film was nowhere as successful as the first one partly because it went up against a re-release of "Sleeping Beauty." "Sleeping Beauty" made $15 milion during that year and this made $8 million. If I had children back then I would for sure take them to "Sleeping Beauty" instead of this. Dark Heart is much scarier than Maleficient and "Sleeping Beauty" has a plot that everyone can enjoy. Most parents probably could not sit through this.
