Tai talking to Izzy/Koushiro about the oolong tea his mom made is a lot funnier in the English version, I will admit. "Izzy, you're the bravest kid I've ever known."

But that's probably the only redeemable thing about the English dub. This film alone is still perfectly enjoyable to watch even if you disregard the nostalgia. And I'm telling you now that it is very, VERY difficult not to be nostalgic watching this, regardless of the language they're speaking!!

The japanese had a much more intresting concept of diaboromon. Unlike in the american version, it,s basically just a baby in this one, despite it,s advanced evolution. It,s motivation is simple unruliness and a need to cause havoc in a childish maner. It doesn,t grasp the effects of it,s actions and therefore must be "aborted"

The dialogue is interesting in the Japanese version.

Though the Digimon I grew up with cracked tons of hysterical jokes. Plus I prefer the English dub character voice, especially that of Matt and Tai.
