I would like to extremely disagree with this terrible statement because it's sexist and implies that Stella isn't a fantastic drummer.

While her drumming is more plain and less dynamic in this song than usual, she's made a great addition to the band and has contributed greatly to Warpaint's sound - which I feel is far from "the chick band stereotype."

It's pretty stupid to make an assessment about a band after hearing one or two songs. That would be like me only seeing one Green day video which happens to be "The time of my life" and saying "this band is weak sauce. a bunch of stereotypical emo pansies." Ha, well the reason why I feel it isn't ground, is because when I'm watching her say "ground/whatever" (0:44) her mouth opens up in a way resembling that of a B sound, rather than scrunching up a little first for a "gr-" sound. (which is what lead me to believe she was saying blood at first, but I don't think she really ends on a proper d sound so I'm at a loss)

I was so pleased to see this song live. I remember the demo from a while back and this new version really tops it.

Tbh I liked it better as an instrumental when it was still in the demo stages. The vocals just kind of overpower the guitar and bass lines which I think are very subtle and pretty in this song. Nevertheless, I still wanna hear the studio version of this with vocals.
