  • God wants us to have prosperity. He DOES want good things for us in this world. However, He also tells us that hard times can and WILL happen. This is a fallen world we live in after all. What of the parable of the rich man and Lazarus? Lazarus had MANY hardships on Earth. He was stricken with poverty among other things. Yet he knew the Lord and never lost his faith and love for Him. After he died, his reward was fully realized. An eternity with God. Earthly rewards cannot compare to this.

  • We should live on the streets just because others are homeless? Definitely not! That's why we help such ministries with money - to help homeless, hungry people, etc. Or, if you are not pleased by their ministry you can directly share your food and home with other people - that's real Christianity. But money is not bad!

  • Money is not bad!!! It's just about where's your soul - are you the slave of your money or is your money a slave of your wise mind in Jesus? More than that, if money is bad and "it is from the devil" then don't go to work anymore, go on the streets "preaching the gospel" while you can enjoy "tribulation" - sell you home, sell your car and live on the streets, that's better?

"...tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of [cruel] mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and [in] mountains, and [in] dens and caves of the earth.
