dude straight death metal is Brain Drill, Vital Remains, Aborted, etc. JFAC was once deathcore, now their slowly becoming straight death metal. Not quite there yet though. Suicide Silence is DEFINATELY deathcore (breakdowns, man). As far as BDM goes...I'd probly have to go with EXTREME melodic death metal. They definately have all the melodic death metal qualities (lots of guitar harmonies), but the music is a little bit more on the extreme side, ESPECIALLY the lyrics (FUCKED up shit).
