vege should be eaten on very fresh bread. I have not seen it in a tube before. We buy it in jars which makes it easy to put a knife in to spread it on bread. This is not over till you try it on freshly baked bread.

ohhhhh you're the man, to spread that much!! I think it's more of a texture thing when you spread it thicker. At least it is for me. Also as for how much is too much, I have heard it is high in sodium. I think I heard one time that the FDA tried to ban it due to folic acid? FDA denies the ban in 06 but I remember something about it lol

I just went and checked out what I remembered hearing. Snopes explained it like this-There was no ban on personal importation or use but they (FDA) did, for a time, stop allowing it to be sent to retailers due to an investigation into whether or not extra folate (folic acid) was being added.(it's illegal to add extra folate to anything other than cereal and bread) ok why the hell am I boring you people?
