  • Quelle grâce!

  • Mao Asada is visually very interesting, I'm not a technical expert on ice skating, but I think she's really beautiful to watch on ice, the use of her long limbs, flexibility and speed, her skating is like an abstract piece of art, either people get it or they don't. She's amazing.

  • Mao Asada is like an angel.

It enjoys the slipping thing, and however, very cruel everyone has a grudge, and being judged is not complaint remark [ttari].

Therefore, she thinks more and more shines from whom.

  • Mao, we love you, plz be strong and you'll shine

  • I've watched this video so many times but it 's still so amazing it looks like she's having so much fun and it's all the more beautiful because of that!

  • felicidades por el video . que buena es , con razon dicen que las europeas y las asiaticas estan pegando fuerte .5 puntos

  • I really don't understand why people have to bash each other. Yuna and Mao are both amazing skaters if one of them wins a medal it wasn't because anyone cheated the judges just gave it to the person who they believes deserved it.

  • Gracefully beautiful.

  • she's really really really gooddd... even tho i'm a yuna fan cuz i'm korean.. she's very beautiful

  • Mao, forever!!

  • I really do feel that Mao is a under rated figure skater under the spot lights of Yuna. I am not even sure why but I like Mao and I am Korean.

  • I beleive Mao is a fighter and will come back strong next season and prove to the world that she is capable to be the best again

  • i am s0rry she did not win gold. I wish her a better year, next year.

As for this year, i think the music she picked was a mistake. YOu really should not try something new--or skate to music you are not comfortable with yet. You do want to better yourself and learn to skate to different music, but not in an Olympic year. She really didnt have the maturity to skate to the music she selected. the moves were there, but not the feeling yet. And i hope she fixes her lutz.

  • @yorishiku2525 i disagree. i felt that her moves fit in with the music. she looked very comfortable with the song. silver is a great win.

i believe her dance just wasn't as difficult to pull off as the dance that won first place.

  • she did very good... silver is not bad..

  • Totally beautiful, hypnotic.

  • Such a gifted skater and beautiful girl! I love the way this routine fits to Sleepwalker. :)

  • thats amazing!!!!! aspecilally with the musuc!!! amazing song of Adam <3

  • Wow, that synch-up is eerily cool!

  • This was confusing..

She did not actually skate to "Sleepwalker".. the person who made this video took the audio out of her original and set the video to that song-

Nice, but not clear from the info in the sidebar..

Anyone know what original music she did skate to?

  • She danced to a piece of music picked by her coach called "Bells of Moscow" ..

You can watch and hear it in the original form on NBC Olympics site.

  • Her long program was "Bells of Moscow" by Rachmaninoff.

  • Thanks for that info. I thought it WAS the music she skated to, lol.

  • wow, it's amazing how well this syncs up to the song! that's awesome, I want to see someone actually skate to it now. :D

  • Wow, that would've been awesome if she had really skated to that wonderful song! I love "Sleepwalker" ...and all of Adam's music!

  • With Adam playing, how could she NOT do well? ;)

  • AWESOME MUSIC CHOICE!

  • Fabulous and beautiful skater! Congratulations, Mao!

  • Mao skated so beautifully and powerfully! A gold medal performance against anyone except Yu Na. Bravo, Mao!
