I'm sorry guys, though Mike Patton is my favorite musician, he doesn't hold a candle to Zorn. Patton copies Zorn a lot, Zorn has been on over 400 records as either composer or performer and Zorn just composes better music overall.

@frididjurhuus That might be true, but Zorn plays instruments and Mike just sings, so they different enough roles that they shouldn't really be compared

@uiruu Zorn has done vocal work before (see Naked City - Osaka Bondage, I can't really remember what it was called, but it's a popular live version), but not anything that's close to Patton, but he has written a lot of fantastic vocal work (see Littany IV, another collaboration with Mike), and Patton has written great songs entirely on his own (Fantomas). They both have a lot of experience, but Zorn is my favorite. Their work is often similar, so I think they're comparable.

@uiruu patton is an instrumental artist as well look up "tomahawk - god hates a coward" or "fantomas - Simply beautiful" or just about any of his mr. bungle live performances from the california album. all great references.
