I know . Don't use it while charging. It will damage the battery. Don't belive me??? Go ask an apple store emlployee. And anothing thing to save battery. Let's say you have 50 percent of battery life left. Don't plug it in. You will damage the battery and get less battery life. Wait for the battery to drain maybe let's say 1 percent than you plug it

@boyuchuadaniel wrrrrrrrrrong :)... depends on which kind of battery you have got. That was the rule for older baterries. If u completly empty licium ion baterries to often they wont charge anymore !

i have a macbook pro and a macbook but i noticed that the macbook pro has a short battery life is this normal? and if i be using wi-fi on it while its still charging would that be bad for the macbook pro? can someone please answer this. thank you

yeah, Im pretty sure its like... Use this battery deal only in the event that you should have the book unplugged ... like as if ... keep it plugged in and its kinda like the little nine Volt that goes under the alarm clock so you can move it from place to place without beeping 1200

my laptop has an amd turion tl52 64x2 64 bit but its a pc and only 1.6 ghz

i dont apple has (or intel) a 64bit processor niether does it need it

Thanks for the tips! I was monkeying with my cellphone several weeks ago... and I forgot about the Bluetooth!

I use my IR remote regularly, so I left it on, but a good tip nonetheless because I think most people don't use it.

What about turning down the brightness under "Displays"? That would probably help, too.

This is the biggest, most powerful laptop I've ever used. I'm shocked by how long the battery lasts even straight out of the box... Apple's got it together!

Yeah, I'd say the sam about the brightness i have it all the way down to the last same with my iPod :D Works like a charm :D
