Oh, so you shot this in 24p eh? You'll find that the 24p is most suited for slower, dramatical types of shots. Like lazing around the garden...

30p is more more of the sports. Fast things moving, driving by in a car...

liked your video. For the last couple of nights I have been using my HV 30 to video the full moon and when I shoot in any High Definition Video format the moon comes out egg shaped but when I shoot in DV mode the moon is round. Would you know what my problem is? yours truly

Ok, what's the secret. My 30p youtube footage from my HV30 looks like total garbage. Am I just stupid or is there something obvious that I'm missing???

It's the settings I used to compress it.

I googled "Best Youtube Compression Settings" or something of the like and there was a site with good settings for Apple Compressor.

Also, this is a very, very short film so you can make it higher res and be within the 100mb rule they used to have.

Oh, also-- I shot this 24p.

And try deinterlacing the footage if you get rectangular-looking artifacts.
