  • @oatmealboy6 haha, can't say Canada doesn't have good dancers though.

Those who performed in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games are pretty decent, and we have April Virch too, a talented fiddler and tap dancer =)

That said, Canada is to passive of a country for any kind of war.

We'd just get trampled over and we'd still laugh at ourselves for it, haha XD

  • @randomdrifter I forgot everything about the opening ceremonies except for that horrible poet from the NWT who almost singlehandedly ruined the entire Olympics.

  • @oatmealboy6 Really? I was moved by his slam-poetry o3o

  • @randomdrifter lol,you have no idea how painful it was to explain that part of the opening ceremonies to friends around the world.

"You see, we have this thing called 'Canada Council,' and they give taxpayer money to fund ANYTHING, apparently."

  • @oatmealboy6 I'm not a Canadian though (hope to be one one day) and I was moved by it a lot, I remembered tearing up to it more than once XD

That said, lotsa things that Canadians disagree with with the Government, but nothing is perfect

People here in Singapore are very unhappy with the government we have as well =/

At least it's way more open in Canada =)

  • This is amazing to watch and the guys really ham up the performance as well rather than looking so serious. Definitely a "duel of the dance" :P

  • Best way to spend time with my five year old on a sat morning.. who need cartoons when you got Riverdance

  • svaka cast"!!

  • This is definitely how all of the world's problems should be solved: with a dance-off. It's so much more fun than wars.

  • @AineHawkins That sucks, because Canada would lose every war we'd ever be in.

  • @oatmealboy6 Come now, there must be good dancers somewhere in Canada.

  • @oatmealboy6

Ok, check your Canadian history boyo, Canada kicked ass in 1812 , WWI AND WWII, And we kept people from killing each other in Cypress and dozens of other countries... dumb ass!!!!

  • colin breaths dance and he is the over lord of the river dance, i want his babys were is he ? come to momma hunny bun ;)

  • is it just me ordoes the guy wearing the wife beater look like chris brown? lol ironyyyy

  • 1:11 *cringe* taco toes!

  • i always manage to laugh everytime

i like how it's multicultural and how they share something instead of it just being traditional one cultural

  • @sakuraXkimono That's part of what Riverdance is. It's not just about Irish culture, it's also the story of the Irish immigration to America. The African-American population was a big part of the Irish history in America (mainly because they were competing for jobs).

Yeah sorry to spam you with some American history there. I just love this show to death.

  • Saw them a long long time ago in Minneapolis, MN and this dance always stands out in my mind! SIMPLY AMAZING!!

  • All I can say is......OMG!!!!!

  • I just can't get sick of it. Too amazing.
