The melody sounds good. I like the Del Reeves "Big Ol' Highway" sound. It also related to Ray Scott's "My Kinda Music" sound. But the lyrics could use a bit of work. These days with the mainstream "Country Artist" (and I use that term loosely with these folks) it's hard to bring back the sound and the feel of the old country legends.
I will say its refreshing to see some younger artists working hard to bring it back though.
