There are many natural occuring things in nature besides DNA that look designed and we know how they are formed. Putting God into the equation isn't scientific because there is now proof of God.

I prayed and then started reading the bible and was horrified by what I read about this God. So I moved to science and so far I have found my path and am happy with it. @rehank3 I used to be wiccan which involves many Gods and Goddesses and I was drawn to it when looking for God. But I still didn't find God. I found logical reason and a new understanding of symbolism in that religion but not God. I'm not saying there is a God but I see no evidence to believe in a God so I stay Athesit until evidence is provided. I open my mind and I feel free as an atheist or wicca but not when I was a Christian.

@richassuzy I'm not scared of the truth I embrace it. Show me your evidence of this truth you talk about and show all the other scientists. I'm absolutly sure they will want to examine this evidence. But the odds are you don't have any real evidence to prove your claim. If you want to know about abiogenesis then study it and you will see what science is telling us. Same goes for many other fields that deal with origins like particle physics and evolution.

The laws we have in this secular nation is what I abide by and I have a moral code although I don't get it from christianity or the bible(have you actually read it?). Stephen Hawking's big freeze theory is wrong. He says that the universe existed as a singularity of infinite density, in which time did not exist, and then it just exploded for no reason, even though there is no reaction possible without time. The idea that there was a beginning of time is the age old theory that God created the universe. I believe in the simple eternal big bang and big crunch, causing another big bang.

The expansion-contraction models (oscillating models) aren't too popular any more. In part they were an attempt to avoid the problem of a beginning to time, but over time the accumulation of dark matter and dark energy would put a stop to the expansion and recontraction.
