I am mixed girl with a whole lot of healthy, thick, "3b" curls, and I ALWAYS buy different products for my hair, but OMG that tigi catwalk curls rock curl amplifier SUCKS! it smelled ok and it did define my curls, but just ONE pump of it made my hair horribly hard! and one pet peeve of mine in a product is CRUNCHYNESS! :( Out of 5 stars, I'd give it a 3.

Really need advice on this! So i'm corrently growing out my natural curls but still have a lot of relaxed ends. My hair is similar to yours, an i have a hard time to keep it the way it looks wet, i don't use the products your using in this video, i use mousse an gel.... but when my hair drys, it turns into an Afro basically, an it wont go the way i want it to because it gets stiff an i an unable to keep it the way it was... can you help me?? @StreetPrincess911 not sure if you want my advice but i use coconut oil and olive oil before i put in leave in conditioner, i notice that alot on people hair i do that it really helps, also to help prolong i also use olive oil spray. Do you have to use gel there are so many other products that could maintain curls for example mixed chicks, miss jessie, or curly custard good luck

@xOpalxo You actually don't have to wash your hair every single day I use a spray bottle to get ready for school and after school I just take a shower and condition my hair and use the Chi infusion like she mentioned. You can get a regular spray bottle at a hair supply store. Hope I answered your question :)

Thank you for this video. My daughter is 13 and she is white, black and native american. Her hair is out of control and I, the white mom (lol), have no idea how to help her. We live in an almost all white community and there are no hair stylists who know how to cut her hair either. It's so frustrating. :( Thanks again!

@twimom33 You can use a hair product called Cantu at a local hair supply store they also sell it at convenient places like Wal-Mart and I even think target it's great to use on kids hair because my mom used to put it in my hair :) hope I helped.

Someone suggested I get shorter layers so its not so bulky at the bottom but I am so scared because it takes my hair forever to grow, I have bi-racial type hair like yours, so its very coarse and dries out so easily.

frizz is natural to curly hair but you can do things to minimise it by using cheaper conditioners as a shampoo and then conditioning.

Also steaming curly hair protects it from humidity.

I had the same problem.....I just deep condition my hair atleast once a week and it dramatically reduces the frizz....then if I know I'm going to wear my curls out the next morning and not straighten my hair, if its already dry, I'll oil up my hair with either some growth oil or olive oil, then apply some mouse to slightly dampen it, then I plat like 4-8 plats from roots to ends depending on how defined I want my curls to be. Also to reduce frizz...

If you ever use heat to straighten or even blow drying use a heat protectant. I use one by Ion its in a pink&white bottle & about $6 after tax but the hair feels AMAZING. No frizz no dry crunchy feeling & less split ends & hair in my brush lol. I heard Garnier Fructise has good no frizz products...but I'm addicted to ION. I noticed such a HUGE difference with my hair cuz it was breaking bad b4...now it grew more than 3 inches in less than 6mths & thats a big deal 4me cuz I'm a mixed sista x]

Quantum hairspray helps my misbehaving hair .. I really love it and it doesn't feel as though you put hairspray nor does it look like it.

I also find the only thing is creams . leave in creams .. gels and mouses help a bit but not enough.
