Yeah, he did get the words slightly wrong. It's "Fred, if you're afraid you'll have to overlook it", not "And if you're afraid...". Fred being his lion pal, of course.
he got the words wrong, but he still gets points. I sing this to people all the time (with the right words and all the clucking, lol), and i get the same reaction.
super chicken was the shhheeeezzzzeee!!! and george of the jungle and tom slick...what a sunday morning we had back in the day....i am hoping that my attempt at cartooning will be half as good...
This was part of one of a series of minute-or-so-long Jerry Seinfeld "TV Junior" shorts that were shown during NBC commercial breaks to promote 'Bee Movie.' This one aired, if I'm not mistaken, during the "Launch Party" episode of 'The Office' in mid-October.
They just don't make em like they used too. Super chicken and Fred were real heroes! Love it Jerry.

He will drink his super sauce
And throw the bad guys for a loss
And he will bring them in, alive and kickin' (cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck)
There is one thing you should learn
When there is no one else to turn to
Call- for Super Chicken! (cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck)
Call...for Super Chicken! (cluck, awk!)

I bet he knows the Bonomo Turkish Taffy song:
Give it a whack, Bonomo
Give it a crack, Bonomo
Then lift up the flap
Strip off the wrap
And hey, away we go

I like that bit on his show where he sings the 'Bugs Bunny Show' theme waiting in line at the opera. Elaine is not impressed.
Vincek88 3 years ago 2
hehe. He missed a few lines, but very good, Jerry.
I just heard a guy from Cincinnati on the radio sing this; I'd never heard it before.
