This means people are caring less about staying alive, and focusing more on having fun while playing the game how it should be played.

I don't use ghost so I compensate with Sam Turrets , it destroys spy planes really fast and can take down other killstreaks . Then I use Black Birds because it can find Ghost and even Ghost Pro users . So there is a counter to Ghost users and compensation for not having Ghost .

So, a perk is only over-powered if a lot of people use it or abuse it? I mean, it's almost exactly the same (if not exactly the same) as cold-blooded. As a matter of fact, you could almost say it's not as good since the pro version isn't as easy to get as in mw2. If you think even futher, the perk is only useful when an enemy spy plane is up, and again, is not as good as its mw2 counterpart because of the blackbird killstreak. Regardless though, I do agree that people are abusing it.

@illmusicdood its more effective since spy planes are 10x more popular in black ops than they are in mw2, since no one is going for nukes in Black ops. And if you rock cold blooded in mw2 you are sacrificing stopping power, thus making your bullets weaker and creating balance, power for stealth. Ghost in black ops has no drawback and is definately overpowered...

Ghost does have a drawback, and that's if an enemy spy plane is not called in the entire match, you basically wasted a perk slot. The one thing that pisses me off about ghost, though is the whole camping thing some people do. Personally, if I'm running ghost and an enemy spy plance comes up, I start getting really aggressive, where it seems most just camp the entire duration of the spy plane.

The people that whine about ghost is the ones who focus on their radar a little too much. Speaking for myself, I use ghost but I do run n gun unless I'm counter camping or waiting on someone. Do I camp? Very rarely, although holdind a position is a sound tactical strategy. The only perk I don't like is 2nd chance because you shouldnt be rewarded by going down repeatedly

If CoD4 doesn't get updated on Xbox, I'd suggest getting it on PS3. There's barely any hackers on there and when you do find a hacked lobby, all you have to do is dashboard (To stop your account from getting fucked up) and find a different gametype. Only bad thing is at around 5-7 EST basically every lobby is infected with speed hacks. Then after an hour, it goes away... Just letting you know incase CoD4 Xbox never does get fixed so you can have a backup plan

The only problem w/ Ghost, is that there is no Perk Balance in this game. UAV Jammer and Cold-Blooded were never problems, because you had to give up a valuable second perk for them. But in Black Ops, all the 1st Tier perks are pretty useless. Scaenger? They already give you enough ammo. Lightweight? Youre better off camping. Hardline? Kinda good, but only 1 less for a killstreak isnt amazing. Flack Jacket is the only one that might be considered useful. So no one even hesitates to pick Ghost...

@SwissGrizz Shut up with perk balance. 1st tier perks are very valuable. After playing mw2 and BO, flak jacket may be the most useful perk ever made on COD, next to sleight of hand. Flak jacket saves from noobtubes, napalm, claymores, c4, MULTIPLE frags/semtex, rc-xd, etc. and would've been more valuable on mw2. The only thing that mw2 got right over black ops is the red perk balance. You get extra bullet damage if you sacrifice cold-blooded, hardline, and lightweight.
