ur missing the point..the guy has 5 cups..more then blowdiver..leads a team to snap a 54 year drought..singly handidly changes the atmosphere in the locker room...hes a true leader..and blowdiver has never given anything that big to his oganization and never will. ...Messier called it...and guess what...the devils couldnt hold there 2-0 lead..and messier scored a hat trick on blowdeiver in one period..he called it in front of one the most biggest medias in the world..Get the hell over it.

messier never made the game six "we will win prediction"! it was a publicity stunt set up by the new york post and messier's public relations rep. it was done to hype up hockey in N.Y. and messier reluctantly gave the ok. that's why you'll never ever find video of messier saying it and he's embarassed to talk about it because he never even said it. it's been a big secret in the n.y. post but many people know about it.
