As a tried and true Nightingale, I have learned these last few months during my Mother's illness to find comfort in the smallest of things. Spending so much time driving on the interstate, the little things speak largely to me.The beauty of the late evening or night sky, the stars and moon above shinning hope + appreciation upon my heart. The humming of a family car passing carrying a Christmas tree keeps me focused despite often being tired. Reflection brings thoughts of all those I hold dear.
