i never modded but i think this is how it goes:

Mods only messes up the game if you fucked up.(either with inserting the mod, or making the mod.)

for example: You created a mod(in Sketchup, or whatever...)

Now you need to convert it. Then you use ...(Don't know what program.)

And i think you still need to add a few lines of code(i think...)

That's the part where you can screw it up.

Mods are: Change CJ into spiderman etc.

Cars are chickens, lol.

Sword is a beam katana etc.

I have a C5 Galaxy model I had made in 3Ds Max(and I have other models), that I wish to replace the Andromeda. I made this model before I played GTA:SA and I don't want to re-build the exact same model in 3Ds again, so I am wondering with the model I already have, is there a way I can "convert" the textures and model into a mod for san andreas. I don't know which version my gtasa is & I've forgotten which version out of 1.0 and 1.1 is modifiable but I know 2.0 isn't, I've also heard if it's version 2.0 it will show at the bottom left/right on the menu, if it's version 1.0 then there is no version number on the menu, for 1.1 however I don't know if it shows or not, 3.0 however is the steam version which obviously is completely unmodifiable and steam reliant & will most likely display on the menu.
