vitali is in very good shape for a 40 year old, Lewis was not so great even at 37, thats one of the reason why i think he retired at the right time. Theres also no denying that Lewis has been in against alot tougher opposition, and in alot tougher battles. These things add up.
besides, using the arguemnt that Vitali is 40 now is pointless here, there would still be an age gap of around 6-7 years between the 2. The heavyweight division is a shadow of what it was in the 80/90's

Really was a great fight too bad, because of the cut Vitali could have created.
I can well understand why he called the years of Lewis rematch.
But now he should give Solis a rematch that could have been a huge struggle.
Especially since Solis was something even better and a ko was not.
