I saw it a couple of weeks ago, but Sophie Evans was standing in for Danielle. She was still pretty good though and the show was a fun experience.

I love the performance, but in terms of range of the song and ability to belt compared to others such as Lauren, she slightly cheated ;-) This version of the song is in B Major, a semitone down from the version from OTR which was in C Major.

However, I think Danielle is an extraordinary performer who has pure truth in her performances

I think making people listen, really listen to this music and just feeling that they're having a special moment, it's something rare this days, just because everyone knows this song, and so many great and talented people have sunged it...but it's funny how the song works for so very few people, the great singers in the world usually can't sang it....The best's versions are still Cassidy's and Garland...

Absolutely brilliant, even though I wanted Sophie to win, Danielle is F A N T A S T IC. It's amazing how much skill & technique she's picked up in such a short time!

I only thank God that she didn't take her entire skirt with her when she picked up Toto, if you look, she took the top layer by accident.

Now taking up the entire skirt...that would have been somewhat...awkward.

Oh my god! Danielle's always been my second favourite - because of her acting - right after Lauren - because of her voice! I'm happy though, that Danielle won, because she is more similar to Dorothy characterwise. And bravo for Danielle, finally learning how to belt and how to stay in tune. She is surely making a wonderful Dorothy!!! I still prefer Lauren's voice, though.

She was by far the best on Over The Rainbow and this certainly isn't a bad effort, but in terms of West End Standards, she is very average. Everything about her is average - she doesn't even have a distinctive appearance. There are a lot of people in West End ensembles that could sing a lot better than this.

While on the show "Over the Rainbow" , Danielle's voice was by no means the strongest but she interpreted songs so well and captured the audience with this incredible light that she has inside she was a shoe in to win and she did. Now we can see with just a bit of training her voice has improved vast amounts. She is going to be a stunning Dorothy.

Although she couldn't belt out those notes on the show, she was the best all round and only needed to learn, which she has, to make her the perfect Dorothy.

I love that the children were dressed in the 5 colors of the different countries of Oz I wonder if ALW is taking some cues from the books in his revision of the story, and drifting away from the movie a bit.

The Dorothy costume is very Judy-ish but she deffinitly brings her own take to the music...

I would rather have a Blonde Dorothy (like the John R Neil version but, this actress is really good).
