It's about a girl being torned between the love for her family (her duties as a traditional daughter) and her lover. Her family is poor and as a daughter she thinks it is her responsibility to help out her parents, who break their backs everyday trying to make a living. So she made the ultimate sacrifice by breaking up with her true love to marry a rich guy. She basically hopes that her lover would understand for her even though this will hurt him as much as it does to her.
