I liked this movie. Stripes, Groundhog Day and Quick Change are my favorites. I'm not a big fan of the Ghostbusters movies, but they are ok. The script of Quick Change is good, but they portrayed the cops as total morons and in real life this would of gone totally different after the bank robbery. It's a movie though, so they gotta make one or the other act retarded. In this case, it's the cops.
masterpiece...its easy to get lost in the tricities even if you live there... if u like this get Flashback and Midnight Run..........wait call me chip....
This is the movie that introduced us to the wonderfully versatile Tony Shaloub (the hapless, misunderstood taxi driver). He's best known for "Monk" now of course, but I have such fond memories of him as the luckless Antonio in the sitcom "Wings". And somewhere in this movie is a nice bit between Murray and the late great Phil Hartman.
I love this movie, but it's hilarious that I was watching a bunch of footage from riots, and social conflicts in Chile and this video was in the "related videos" section.
They take every stereotype of Mexican and put in the scene! Guy holding rooster, momma holding baby, priest, barefooted kid ringing bell...hell you'd think you were in Mexico!

It's a great scene because as xrm1996 says it came from nowhere!
This is probably my favorite comedy. Does anyone have a clip of the opening of the movie. I knew I was in for something special when I heard "Nude Women, Clowns Welcomed"
...extremely ubderappreciated movie. great plot, great little scenes that take a sarcastic poke at NYC, especially in the 80's and 90's. Could never find it at any Blockbuster back in the day. Thank God for internet
One of my farvourite movies. It's almost never on TV, and very hard to find in stores. I managed to pick up a copy on Ebay. Not for everybody though. If you think Jack Black and J-Lo make good movies, then you won't like this.
I agree. This movie is grossly under appreciated, and deserves to be better known. It is one of my favorite movies. I never get tired of it. It has so many great moments that I constantly draw parallels with in everyday life. Hilarious!
This is one of my favorite movies. I think the story and performances are ingeniously funny. Within the context of the entire storyline, this scene is even funnier. Great moments.
You just knew the guy with the banana seat would win .

This scene has nothing to do with the movie, and therein lies its brilliance. It's one of the very best "where did that come from" moments in film.

I love the non sequitir quality of this scene...it's so completely random. It's like this bizarre religious test of faith or something.
Bill Murray said this movie was really underappreciated (it's the only one he co-directed)...it's really terrific.
