King of Tone, Timmy & DOD Grunge - "You can't stack those!!!"

I have that exact grunge pedal. The "grunge" knob doesn't seem to do anything except add a little fuzz on mine. Is my knob broken?

@antimarxism It sounds like it may be broken. I bought mine new back around 1995, and it's always worked fine. The "butt" & "face" knobs definitely have a much larger impact on shaping the sound with their huge sweeping EQ, but the "grunge" knob does alter the gain. It doesn't really clean up, but turned beyond 12 o'clock it does start to saturate the tone, rather than just add fizz.
