Hi there! I have tried to learn how to do the hairstyle of "Swing dance by Darren and Lilia at Strictly Come Dancing 2009" on You Tube. Lilia has this 1940s look I believe. I'm struggling! Please can you help?

I bought this from a vintage store, it is a 1940's junior dress :) Try visiting a vintage store in your area, or better yet, the vintage clothing section on ebay or Etsy :)

Thank you so much!!! I think with a lot of effort + hairspray, you could do it as long as your bangs aren't too think... doesn't that stick about bangs? I love having short bangs, but I miss doing hairstyles like this.... and visa versa when my bangs are long :(

Yes, sadly @_@ I have a couple more requests from the notebook as well, and I am working very hard on them presently. I study the pictures, and then after enough internet research, it seems I usually come across vintage diagrams to confirm(sometimes, lol)

I think it would look a little different, but beautiful in its own way! :D Just make sure to still tie off the pig-tails at the base of your skull, or the twists might fall out... :)
