The Soul is non-physical. We realize that we are the Soul when we reach a higher level / dimension of spiritual experience.

The Soul has awareness of the incarnations, so it still has a personal ego. However the soul's ego is very different from the incarnational ego.

The incarnational ego knows only this lifetime or past lifetimes. Whereas the Soul's ego knows all lifetimes from an external being perspective.

The "I" sense still exists in the Soul.

So, at the essence of our being we are Spirit, which can also be described as impersonal Consciouness or Awareness.

When this Consciouness incarnates, it manifests as the Soul's personal ego, which is purely non-physical. Where does the ego that is identified with the body and mind appear?

How does knowledge of "all lifetimes" becomes evident to the Soul´s ego?

Spirit with a capital S is the Universal Creative Consciousness. spirit with a small s can be the impersonal creative energy - like spiritual energy.

The Soul has knowledge of all incarnations so it is more personal than Spirit / Consciousness. Consciousness needs content to have experience. The Soul is a very pure level of manifest content.

The incarnational ego is a product of past life experience, cellular memory, DNA, current life experience.

The Soul is aware of all lifetimes as they occur. The Soul is experiencing life through the incarnation. However most incarnations are unaware of the Soul. But the Soul is aware of the incarnation.
