They'd be perfect for a 70's party! But you should know that this was only half the costume. There was a long bottom skirt they'd take off during a show. Search for the video "ABBA Cat Outfits" to see more. And if you recreate them be sure to post vid or pic so we can see :)

Exactly. Bjorn and Benny wrote most of the songs, while Agnetha and Anni-frid's voices worked in harmony with each other to create that angelic sounding singing. Absolutely incredible band, ALL four of them, equally. So many of their songs were just so beautiful, while others were just so fun. And they had so many.
I made a comment about this video, but apparently because I did't get all of the bugs worked out of my new membership I will start over as it is a briefer format than I am used to I'll say first that visually, this is one of their best efforts, and I agree that Frida, definitely enjoyed dancing and performing more than Agnetha, but, that being said neiather of them were later on as effective solo, as they were together. The synergy, that the 4 created together is something that won't be again.
I do not think Agnetha really enjoyed dancing as much as Freida. For that matter, I do not think she liked to show all that much emotion beyond that which came through her voice. She always seemed to be on the verge of tears, or a pout, like someone was just mean to her and hurt her feelings. Much as I love her, I'll bet she was no picnic to work with at times.

This is just such a happy, catchy song. I haven't a clue as to why it is more popular now than almost 40 years ago.
God, I'm getting old, but still two years older than Agnetha and almost 3 years younger then Primcess Ani-Frid.
