  • This song was originaly sung by S janaki & SPB. I wonder why she is not here. The song sounds completly different to the original one. What i feel is Chitra is not bringing out the expressions as S Janaki does. Can See the stress in chitra's face trying to sing in a high pitch. But i ve never seen S janaki like this. She sings without any stress. Always with a smile.

  • I beg to differ!! Chithra Chechi has done 100% justice to this song.. She has her own style and she sung in that... I find that she was more expressive than Janakiamma in the charanam... loved it...

  • the first violin start is so catchy. ilayaraja uses very peculiar sounds to make it unique and very different from other kind of music. no wonder he is the trend-setter.
