Our military is weakened, our national debt is enormous, we still haven't caught OSAMA BIN LADEN after 7 years, our economy is a mess, people are losing their homes at a record rate, people are losing good paying jobs, the stock market is a mess, we are becoming a nation of service industry low paid workers, our schools are failing, we are losing in afghan, all while Oil companies post record profits while we bail out Wall Street. PART #1 Ok, this is something for the still undecided. I flip houses. Right now I pay capital gains of 0% thanks to the Bush tax cuts. Senator Obama has already said he will let those tax cuts expire. So what? Im just a rich fat cat right? Not exactly. Not that rich, really. Here the math; In the last 12 months I have paid contractors about $75,000 plus another $175,000 into the real estate market AND all the attorneys, title company, real estate agent fees etc associated with this.

I can't talk for all "liberals" but I'm personally agaisnt the death penalty because I see it as government-assisted-revenge. It's not justice it's revenge. There's a difference. And I'm pro-choice bc banning abortion is only gonna make things worst. We should try to find ways to reduce abortion without criminalizing it.
By the way, when it comes to death penalty I strongly disagree with Obama. He is pro-death penalty in certain cases, I'm not under any circumstances.

That's a stupid question! Dont you think? If someone does that I'd like to take revenge myself, with my own hands. I'd make that someone suffer every second before the final blow. But those are normal human emotions. Resentment and thirst for vengeange blocks reason, and our justice system should not facilitate revenge. Another thing is that death is not something you could correct if you made the wrong judgement on someone. Irreversable punishments are risky bc our judicial system has flaws.

Of course you would, that's a normal reaction. But you are saying if law enforcement caught him first then your opportunity to kill him has passed. Would you want the state to kill him for you? I would. And yes I am sure innocent people have been killed for crimes they didn't commit. I really don't know what to say to that it's terrible, but I believe in an eye for an eye. And God forbid they feel any pain when they are being put down. I am in Florida where we had the chair, now injection.

Once again you avoid the questions and go for the fear route. How have any of Bush's/Mccain's policies worked? They haven't at all. What was everyone like after 9/11? How old are you? 17 or 12 or something? Anyone who was an adult with their head not up their ass remembers it. After 9/11 what was the economy like? And what happened? Have we been hit since? There are those who live pre-9/11 and those post 9/11. That one event has dictated policy here and abroad more than ever. It has had a bearing on foreign realations to the overall economy.
My question is how much is everyone willing to gamble our national security, economy and lives by watering down that that helps protect us. We can afford to be wrong a hundred times but they only have to be right once.

in 2002 the republicans in congress and senate as well as the president relaxed the regulations for loans to housing due to the fact that bush had failed to stop 9/11 which scared everyone. Everyone started saving money. Bush told everyone to be patriotic and let freddie and fannie loan to anyone. These subprime loans were sold from one bank to another until now when people realized they weren't worth anything. We the tax payers are now paying for their mistakes made 7 years ago.

It just got there and Republicans have been stalling congress bills for the last year. the 90s were thanks to clinton, the president sets the pace for the nation and economy. Our military is weakened, our national debt is enormous, we still haven't caught OSAMA BIN LADEN after 7 years, our economy is a mess, people are losing their homes at a record rate, people are losing good paying jobs, the stock market is a mess, we are becoming a nation of service industry low paid workers, our schools are failing, we are losing in afghan, all while Oil companies post record profits while we bail out Wall Street. I honestly tried to come into this election fairly. I've commented both ways on obama and mccain and their flaws and little political games. What I have found is that Obama supporters actually talk to you while Mccain supports attack and make some angry sexual remarks refusing to even discuss mccains flaws.
