He didn't do any community service or stuff like that he just was on the school band. thats, it, and also got an SAT of 1750 (around that number).

@carlx01 first of all, your friend must be really special, because Princeton accepts about 10% of students, and about a half of the students who got accepted had over 2100 on their SATs, 2360 being the 75%.... It is also worth noting that it is the second best university in the US, but you're right, it sucks...

On a seperate note, why do acceptance rates have to be correlated to how good a school is? Because they don't, I know many great schools with generous acceptance rates.

There is a university in the United Kingdom called the University of Dundee.It's in Scotland. I would very strongly urge Chinese students who're thinking of coming to the UK to undertake undergrad or postgraduate studies to NOT enrol at the University of Dundee. Many Chinese students at this university have been racially abused (either verbally, and in some cases physically.)
