hey universal health care is all that great. my friends grandfather lived in canada born & raised he needed dialysis but which was fine until he turned 65. when he turned 65 your "universal" health care would no longer allow him this treatment which he needed to stay alive. your health plan actually killed him. he was dead within the week. yeah canada may not have significant events of death but thats because canada has NO significant events in history the world would be thesame w/ or w/o canada

Hitler was also feared that Canada would go through his most Elite Troops at Juno Beach. We we're the only army to Advance through German defenses faster then any other army. Well NY has the population of Canada pretty much. However in terms of our past war involvement the Canadians were considered the most fierce in WWI (a war which the US barely took part in they joined the effort in 1918.... 3-4 years after it had started). War of 1812 Can/Brit burned Washington 2 times. WWII was a pretty much joint effort from everyone.
Most people view Canadians as harmless because are soldiers are peace keepers, you know the thing that's important in avoiding and ending a war

the US barely took part as far as time goes in world war I. but if you look in terms of the nation with the biggest impact, the US was it, and the allies were in danger of losing it until the US showed up and just finished it. The US was only there for the end of it because we were the ones who ended it.

everyone runs away from battles, unless you were a japanese soldier during WW2 and had no fear for your life. And i don't think the UN is taking anything away because the UN has no real power anymore. And we were already participating in WW2 before Pearl Harbor was attacked, look up lend-lease and you'll see that our president was trying rather hard to get us in. And i believe it was the US that stormed Omaha and Utah beaches at normandy, not the canadians.

Not true the war was already coming to an end before the Americans showed up and they only entered because the Lusitania was destroyed. The reason they were feared so much was because of their numbers, however many american WWI casualties were killed by Americans themselves. They fired backwards when fleeing the trenches. Not saying they weren't good soldiers though, just what happened.
But the reason most don't like the US is their "I'm The Greatest Attitude". Everyone is flawed even the US.

no, the lusitania was destroyed in 1915, the reason we entered the war was only partly because of that, it was mostly because of the unrestricted submarine warfare. And in 1917 the Russians withdrew from the war, meaning all the Germans' eastern front troops were transferred to the western front, tipping the balance towards the Germans, The U.S. showed up and tipped the balance the other way and put a solid end to the war thanks to General Pershing.

You're right however I said "pretty much the population of Canada" New York's population is off by about 10 million which sounds like a lot but but seeing as Canada has 32+ million spread over the 2nd largest country and New York is just 10 million under with about 20 Million in one state. That's still incredible.
