That's awesome! Making it to Kona would be so cool especially since your dad did that! I am doing IM again this year, and my husband is doing it as well. Our training program has us swimming about 3 times per week ranging from 1500 yds and progressing to 4200 yds. I actually found some swim technique videos on here you could check out for technique. They seemed to help me. Good luck and have fun training!!!!
wow all i can say is great job in the ironman i plan on doing a few shorter ones thissummer and hopefully make it to the kona ironman where my dad raced several times. im starting to train intensely. any tips on swimming? i was born and raised in hawaii so i know how to swim but as far as the amount of time u need to spend in the pool and any proper techniques will be greatly appreciated. congratulations, YOU ARE AN IRONMAN!!
