  • @gayhuman You still going on about this nonsense, sheesh, give it up dude it doesn't make sense to become one of those Gays who goes joining neo-nazi hate group simply because blacks who were only 6 percent of the population in California voted YES on prop8; Despicable how you can be so simpleminded.

  • @gayhuman Obviously I will have to block you since you are unable to allow anything to be family oriented, even after you were warned, which explains why you want to redefine marriage.

  • @gayhuman Your either a troll, a bully or just a confused person. I feel sorry for you.

  • @gayhuman Your comment was removed for profanity. Profanity is anti-family. Why are the No on Prop 8 people so antifamily?

  • I would just like to say that this video is false. Some African Americans were for prop 8 and some were against it. California is not the only place that black people live. I really don't understand why people are trying to start wars between black people and gay people. You all do know that their are black gay people right? I'm black and my best friend is gay. I love him for who he is. I can't change the color of my skin and he can't change his sexuality.

  • @gayhuman lol you must be a troll because i have never heard of a gay person who hates all black people. Your argument is hilarious and has me rolling on the floor. Because the world is against anyone who is different and that includes you. So you are hating on another minority group. That is just hilarious.

  • White "Christians" originally helped fight against marriage between two black people, between interracial couples, and between interfaith couples. Sadly, just because someone chooses a particular religious lifestyle, does not make his discrimination right, no matter what his skin color is.

  • @glafna I had to remove your comment for vulgarity. Vulgarity is antifamily. Why are the no on Prop 8 antifamily?

  • @YesProp8 Umm I can't even remember what it was, so I shant argue it with you. But I am not anti-family. People have a right to believe what they want in their personal lives.

All I shall say is that there is a point to making everyone equal. So that in the future no one will care.

But alas you don't want that, because without all this anti-gay sentiment, people might figure out your just scapegoating to distract them from their own problems.

But you wont believe this.Meh, its your right

  • WASHINGTON - The National Organization for Marriage (NOM) has praised a motion filed Monday in federal court in San Francisco to vacate the decision in Perry v Schwarzenegger finding a federal constitutional right to same-sex marriage.

  • The NOM Advocacy Center provides an easy way to contact your elected officials on important issues related to marriage.

  • Churches are the most influential organizations in the black community, which accounts for 6 percent of the state population and 12 percent of the national population. Demographic surveys of churchgoing African Americans reveal that the community is somewhat more inclined to restrict gay rights

Some of those conservative, largely white groups are seeking alliances with black churches.

  • "I am not trying to rail against gay people; we have gay people in our music department," Ray Williams, pastor of the First Morning Star Baptist Church in Oakland, said at the pro-Prop. 8 rally. "When you look at the people getting married in San Francisco, you didn't see very many blacks. It's not a distinct issue in the black community."

  • Marriage is between a husband and wife. The people of [this state] do not want marriage to be anything but that. We do not want government or judges changing that definition for us today or our children tomorrow.

  • Language to avoid at all costs: "Ban same-sex marriage." Our base loves this wording. So do supporters of SSM. They know it causes us to lose about ten percentage points in polls. Don’t use it. Say we’re against “redefining marriage” or in favor or “marriage as the union of husband and wife” NEVER “banning same-sex marriage.”

  • @omiolo It's exactly what happened, I don't care how you euphemize it, the fact is you elected to BAN same sex marriage. It was a right granted in 2008 until proponents of your cause elected to have it redacted, or as you've tried to dismiss, "BANNED"

  • @glafna The problem is that those who want to redefine marriage are TYRANTS. They want to force their new morality on others, and if they don't agree with them, they litigate, they mob, and they call names (such as you). I will defend myself against mobs and tyrants, and stand up against name callers.

  • @omiolo Why would they show tolerance to your kind (the true tyrants who are banning rights that were granted by the senate) when you have showed them no tolerance in your stance of revoking their rights?

  • "I am not trying to rail against gay people; we have gay people in our music department," Ray Williams, pastor of the First Morning Star Baptist Church in Oakland, said at the pro-Prop. 8 rally. "When you look at the people getting married in San Francisco, you didn't see very many blacks. It's not a distinct issue in the black community."

  • @omiolo Just sounds like an attempt to gain sympathy from left wingers. The easy truth is that the black community of california has proven itself completely as hypocrites that shame the struggle of civil rights that their ancestors fought for.

  • @MIS315 You do NOT have the right to REDEFINE marriage.

  • @omiolo doesnt matter, it'll happen whether you care to "protect" it or not

  • If life and its rushed pace and many stresses have made it difficult for you to feel like rejoicing, then perhaps now is a good time to refocus on what matters most.

  • Therapists and Ministry Leaders We have developed successful protocols for helping those with same-sex attraction and their loved ones.

  • @omiolo Said protocols have been condemned by several mental health authorities around the world as damaging.

  • Parents and Loved Ones

Discovering a child’s same-sex attraction (SSA) can be the start of difficult journey. You will find answers and solutions to your most pressing questions.

  • African Americans are tired of the gay community PRETENDING their civil rights are being violated!!

  • @omiolo uh huh...

So..... 100 years ago, you weren't being denied the same rights to marry whom who wished? You didn't run the risk of being beaten and left for dead in certain parts of the south? You couldn't be arrested on fraudulent charges? You weren't granted the same respect as others willing to risk their lives for your country? In the 60's, you weren't forced to fight tooth and nail for equal rights?

Kindly explain how that doesn't apply to gay people around the world.

  • @glafna "100 years ago, you weren't being denied the same rights to marry whom who wished?"

Maybe you should learn about LDS history BEFORE going down this line of questioning. We are STILL the ONLY group of people that had an EXTERMINATION order against them by the government. We didn't even get to control the media like the gays do now.

  • @omiolo Gays control the media? That's news to me. Oh wait, do you mean how people condemn your churches support of proposition 8? That isn't us controlling the media, it's other people not liking how the CoJCoLDS organized and funded prop 8, basically putting a middle finger in the collective face of the US, as the country was founded on a basis of separation of church and state, and equality for all. Not just for those who can just toss money at something they dont like to make it go away

  • @omiolo And if you somehow didn't know... To be gay in 18-20 countries is to be condemned for death, 7 will result in life in prison, and most likely a death I would not wish on anyone, and at least 30 other countries it will result in a fine. Another 20-30 countries don't recognize any form of homosexual relationships. We are also condemned by numerous religions, including yours, and are often considered as liars, perverts, or deviants. Explain how we don't have to fight for our rights?

  • @glafna "To be gay in 18-20 countries is to be condemned for death"

To be Mormon in many countries is be condemned by death too! Wake up!!!

  • @glafna "We are also condemned by numerous religions, including yours"

Gays also condemn MANY religions especially mine. Mormon men lost their jobs because gay people wouldn't work with them. You are BLIND.

  • @omiolo It's a double edged blade, But you are the ones holding it. We condemn you, for declaring us deviants and perverts, and that we "choose" to be this way against gods will. You say I am blind? I am far from blind. The hate crimes legislation is horrible to have, as it promotes forcing others to your way of thinking. The way many gay men scream discrimination is disgusting and pathetic, when it's someone just voicing their opinion.

  • @omiolo People have the right to state their minds. It's a basic human right.

However, they do NOT have the right to FORCE others to believe what they believe, nor is it their right to take away their rights. When they do that, it IS a hate crime. We do not force you to marry us, if you do not like our opinions. We go elsewhere. All gays want is the same rights as everyone else. What right do you have to deny them that right?

  • @glafna "they do NOT have the right to FORCE others to believe what they believe,"

and that is one of the reasons we strongly oppose gay marriage.

  • @glafna "We do not force you to marry us"

are you saying gays will NEVER try that?

  • @omiolo I did not say that. There will be ones who feel it is their right to force others to accept their lifestyle, and their wrong in that. But that is a radical minority. Considering them to represent all gays is like considering the KKK to represent all white people, or the Nazi party to represent all germans, or the Black Bloc to represent protesters.

  • @glafna "There will be ones who feel it is their right to force others to accept their lifestyle, and their wrong in that"

and Prop 8 helps us stop others from forcing their definition of marriage upon us.

  • @omiolo Thing is... despite what you or anyone else may say, the word marriage is just that, a word. You can define it HOWEVER you want to. You don't have to recognize it as a legitimate marriage, and it won't affect you either way. The thing is, Sure civil unions are great, but they don't provide many benefits that being married does. If your wife, or your child, were in the hospital, and you were denied access to them because you weren't considered legally family, would you be angry? I would

  • @omiolo "There will be ones who feel it is their right to force others to accept their lifestyle, and their wrong in that"

Please help us stop religious denominations from forcing THEIR definition of marriage upon us

  • @MIS315 "forcing THEIR definition of marriage upon us"

You are right, there is NO need to REDEFINE marriage.

  • @thetruth6789 vulgarity forced me to remove this comment.

  • @thetruth6789 same with this comment.

  • @mynameisaraw removed for vulgarity in the comment.

  • @thetruth6789 vulgarity removed

  • @thetruth6789 same with this comment.

  • @thetruth6789 your comment was removed for vulgarity.

  • @mynameisaraw Your comment was removed for profanity. Profanity is antifamily. Why are the No on Prop 8 people antifamily?

  • @YesProp8 im not antifamily, in fact im profamily, which is exactly why i beleive that gay people should have the right to be a family and get married!

  • @mynameisaraw Gay people can not have families, so you are anti-family.

  • @thetruth6789 your an idiot, if your talking about the "ideal" family sure, which is one husband, one wife, one son, one daughter. but then you'd have the majority of the world. im only with my mom and i have no siblings, am i not in a family? and even if gays couldnt have families (and i'd call having just a spouse counting as a family) and i support them, doesnt make me anti family.

  • @mynameisaraw A man and a woman are not a family, they are a couple.

  • @thetruth6789 even if it is a civil union they can be called a family.

  • @mynameisaraw A family is a couple who has had a child biologically, like nature intended. Homosexuals can not have children biologically, so they can not be a family, they are just a couple.

  • @thetruth6789 A family is a cohesive unit that cares for it's members and protects them from negative influences.

Explain how a gay/lesbian couple can't provide that kind of environment?

  • @mynameisaraw Christians did not have anything to do with the anti-miscegenation laws, it was the government.

  • @thetruth6789 it was christians who made that law.

  • @mynameisaraw Christians did not make the anti-miscegenation laws in the 1800's.

  • @thetruth6789 were the people in the government then christians?

  • @mynameisaraw No.

  • @thetruth6789 i just quoted word for word the definition of marriage.

  • @thetruth6789 thats the pot calling the kettle black.

  • @mynameisaraw Gays do have an agenda to corrupt people, read up on the homosexual agenda.

  • @thetruth6789 the "homosexual agenda" is... hate repeating myself, propaganda made up by bigoted straight christians.

  • @thetruth6789 thank god people like you cant corrupt places that accept gays and allow gay marriage.

  • @mynameisaraw Gay marriage is illegal by religious law. The U.S. government does not have the right to establish religious laws on marriage.

  • @thetruth6789 and you do not have the right to dictate how someone else lives, you do not have the right to say someone cant marry just because they are gay.

  • Comment removed

  • @thetruth6789 they arent the ones replying to me, your the one whos saying it right now.

  • Comment removed

  • @thetruth6789 plus, do they have law over the entire world? NO.

  • @mynameisaraw They govern what marriage is, they created it.

  • @thetruth6789 marriage is not for one soul group of people. everyone has a right to it.

  • @mynameisaraw Again, ask the Anglican Communion what it thinks of that. They will tell you marriage is heterosexual.

  • @thetruth6789 i dont care, your saying its heterosexual but i dont care. you think them saying that will do anything? definitions can be changed and always are.

  • @mynameisaraw Exactly, gays want to change the definition of marriage, that is disrespectful.

  • @thetruth6789 it isnt. besides its already been changed "Marriage is a social union or legal contract between people that creates kinship. It is an institution in which interpersonal relationships, usually intimate and sexual, are acknowledged in a variety of ways, depending on the culture or subculture in which it is found. Such a union, often formalized via a wedding ceremony, may also be called matrimony." between people, not a man and a women.

  • @mynameisaraw "Marriage is a social union or legal contract between people that creates kinship"

-Marriage is not a legal contract, how is it legal? It is a religious contract.

  • @thetruth6789 its a spiritual and legal contract, it allows benefits under law and binds the two people spiritually.

  • @mynameisaraw Again, what benefits under law are granted by marriage?

  • @thetruth6789 "The status of marriage in North America is in a state of flux as an increasing number of states make marriage available to same-sex couples and grant them all of the 300 or so state benefits and obligations that were previously restricted as a special privilege of opposite-sex married couples." im not going to type out 300 benefits....

  • @mynameisaraw "The status of marriage in North America is in a state of flux "

    -No it's not.

  • @thetruth6789 dude, thats from a christian website for religious tolorence XD

  • @mynameisaraw "as an increasing number of states make marriage available to same-sex couples"

-How is it an "increasing number", there hasn't been a state that has made gay marriage(an oxymoron) legal in years.

  • @mynameisaraw Again, you argue with ignorance and false statements.

  • @thetruth6789 again thats the pot calling the kettle black

  • @mynameisaraw Again, marriage does not grant any benefits, civil unions do.

  • @mynameisaraw I swear, arguing with you is like arguing with a retard.

  • @thetruth6789 i'd say the same thing about you but it isnt a retard its just an extremely unintelligent person, calling you a retard would be an insult to people with mental disabilities everywhere.

  • @mynameisaraw Marriage is a religious heterosexual institution, it has been this way for hundreds of years, it has never changed.

  • @thetruth6789 really? how come theres gay marriage in places like canada and the Uk? id say thats a change. and yes its still called marriage and it still IS marriage.

  • @mynameisaraw Gay marriage is an oxymoron, and sadly it is legal because the government in those country have intruded into hundred year old religious laws of marriage, something that is not only unconstitutional, but goes against the governments jurisdiction.

  • @mynameisaraw Homosexuals are nazi's, they are using the government to forcefully change laws that they have no jurisdiction or right to change. In the United States we also have Freedom of Religion, the government can not change religious laws, and lets people worship their religion as their religion see's fit, and the government changed the religious law of marriage, that is unconstitutional and wrong.

  • @thetruth6789 HOW DOES HOMOSEXUALISM RELATED TO BEING RACIST?!

  • @mynameisaraw When did I relate it to racism?

  • @thetruth6789 you called homosexuals nazis!!!!!!

  • @mynameisaraw Once you change the definition of a word, it can not be the same thing. Marriage is not defined by state governments.

  • @thetruth6789 marriage is still marriage its just a bit different, its been changed in the past, black people used to only be able to marry other black people, and then they changed it that people could marry interracially.

  • @mynameisaraw Marriage is not marriage, when it accepts homosexuals.

  • @thetruth6789 marriage is the union between two people who are in love. no other definition should be acceptable

  • @mynameisaraw "marriage is the union between two people who are in love"

    -Yes, two heterosexual people.

  • @thetruth6789 nope, two people, thats its... PERIOD.

  • @mynameisaraw Nope, heterosexuals, that's it...PERIOD!

  • @thetruth6789 wow you really are a dumbass, its for two people who love eachother no matter race, gender or sexual orientation.

  • @mynameisaraw Marriage is for two heterosexual people regardless of race and gender, but not regardless of sexual orientation.

  • @thetruth6789 then how come marriage is defined when in regards to the people being married it says people instead of the man and the woman?

  • @mynameisaraw You are starting to make no sense.

  • @thetruth6789 because they were christians their beleifs about marriage (at that time it being only people of the same race could marry) that probably made them make that decision

  • @mynameisaraw Can you prove that they were Christians.

  • @thetruth6789 the percentage of christians in that time were high, like 80%+ so its EXTREMELY likely that they all were. and even if they all werent the majority of them would have been.

  • @mynameisaraw Again prove they were all Christian.

  • @thetruth6789 i proved the majority of them were christians and that that would be enough to make that law.

  • @mynameisaraw You haven't proved anything.

  • @mynameisaraw "no other definition should be acceptable"

-According to you, and fortunately for all of us, you do not have the authority to define marriage.

  • @thetruth6789 "fortunately to all of us" so you think everyone shares your opinion?

  • @mynameisaraw Again, government does not have the right to change marriage. And the last time they changed marriage, look what happened, Blacks were not able to marry Whites.

  • @mynameisaraw So what definitions are being changed?

  • @thetruth6789 for example fag wasnt always a pejoritive term meaning homosexual, it was a word meaning a pile of timber or an old iritating woman.

  • @mynameisaraw You're on drugs and obviously mentally ill.

  • @thetruth6789 how?

  • @mynameisaraw What more retarded arguments will you come up with now?

  • @thetruth6789 a human being should have the right to marry who ever they wish.

  • @mynameisaraw Including an animal?

  • @thetruth6789 as long as its concented....

  • @mynameisaraw With your pathetic arguments and analogies, you must also think humans should be able to marry animals and inanimate objects, further making a mockery of marriage.

  • @thetruth6789 you seriously are an idiot, people should be allowed to marry WHOever they want as long as its concented by both people.

  • @mynameisaraw You are on drugs and clearly mentally ill, like all the people who support the crazy and disgusting lifestyle of homosexuals. The fact that you think humans should be able to marry animals and that animals can consent to this, totally proves what I said about you.

  • @thetruth6789 you are an idiot and do not understand what im say at all... first of all i've never done drugs, second im not mentally ill in any way. third ANIMALS CANT CONCENT TO ANYTHING DUMBASS SO NO, MARRIAGE WITH ANIMALS CANT HAPPEN!

  • @mynameisaraw No one should take anything you homosexual and homosexual lovers say serious. For one, you're into beastiality and and clearly mentally ill.

  • @thetruth6789 your an idiot.... i never said i was into beastiality.

  • @mynameisaraw Marrying animals is beastiality.

  • @thetruth6789 i know that, and like i've said before, i beleive anyone can marry anyone else as long as there is concent between the two, animals cannot concent to marriage, therefore it isnt possible, you really need to learn to read EVERYTHING. idot.

  • Yet all the gays voted for Obama... irony.

This was a result of gays comparing their movement to the black civil rights movement, which demeans the black civil rights movement.

  • @freakylocz14 how so? people's rights are taken away, it doesnt matter what kind of group they're from.

  • @mynameisaraw What rights are taken away, you still haven't given me any examples.

  • @thetruth6789 i have actually ive said this before, for one, unless they changed it recently, there are certan times when only family and married spouses are allowed to see someone in the hospital gay parterns cant, they also cant make a decision on life support regarding their partners.

  • @mynameisaraw I have never heard of hospitals making such policy, but that is not a law, that is hospital policy, take it up with them.

  • @freakylocz14 Gays have no respect, they even disrespect and demean the Black civil rights movement to further push their disgusting and greedy agenda.

  • Bigotry.

  • When presenting Mormon opponents of same-sex marriage, the filmmakers showcase a curmudgeonly Utah state legislator who compares gay Americans to Muslim terrorists. Given the church's high levels of education and affluence, one surmises that they could have found more eloquent and less offensive Mormons to articulate their belief in traditional marriage.

  • Sad. Truly sad.

  • out of all the communities in the US one would think that the african american community woud be behind anyone who doesn't have equal rights Do you have any idea how many gays were in support of the african american community during the 60,s civil rights shame on you for not supporting other suppressed people perhaps we should bring back slavery maybe that can be the next pro we can vote on and lets see the outcome

  • shame on all african americans for any votes of yes what if a prop was up to say blacks are no longer allowed in california but the majority voted for it would it make it right perhaps gays should pay taxes to this state of california should be equal rights (blacks) not special rights never heard that before!!

  • @MrOdyman

Your comment was removed for profanity. This is antifamily. Why are the No on Prop 8 people so antifamily?

  • @YesProp8 Aww poor baby. First off, there is no such word as "antifamily" Learn to use a hyphen, please. Perhaps it seems that way because we're sick and tired of your lies and avoidance of any questions that are critical of your logic.

I'm not anti-family at all. At some point I may marry my boyfriend an adopt a child of some poor, teenage mother to give a good home :) I don't think the genitals on my partner is what makes a family good or bad. Who's anti-family?

  • @MrOdyman "I'm not anti-family at all. At some point I may marry my boyfriend an adopt a child of some poor, teenage mother to give a good home :) I don't think the genitals on my partner is what makes a family good or bad. Who's anti-family"

-The very word family identifies itself between a man and a woman and it's children.

  • @thetruth6789 so im not in a family? its just me and my mom. btw i stand up for gay rights even though im straight.

  • @mynameisaraw But what gay rights are you standing up for? You realize you're not standing up for any rights, right? You are facilitating and abetting the greedy and disrespectful interests of the homosexual agenda.

  • @thetruth6789 they arent greedy at all, in fact i'd say your being greedy! you are keeping people from a basic human right just because you want it for straight people who want to have kids from what you've said so far. plus there is no such thing as a "Homosexual agenda" thats just a whole bunch of propaganda. and in case you didnt know... "Propaganda is a form of communication that is aimed at influencing the attitude of a community toward some cause or position."

  • @mynameisaraw "they arent greedy at all"

-Homosexuals are greedy, they want more rights than they already have.

  • @thetruth6789 greed isnt just wanting more than one already has. its wanting more than one deserves, and gays certanly deserve it.

  • @mynameisaraw "you want it for straight "

-I don't want it for straight people, it is for straight people.

  • @thetruth6789 you want it just for straight people who want intend on having children, according to what you've said so far. but it belongs to anyone and everyone.

  • @mynameisaraw Marriage is not a right, it is a religious heterosexual institution.

  • @thetruth6789 it is a right to say otherwise is idiotic.
